i like my life. full day of classes on monday means hw for tuesday. means i miss monday's show. (which we all know is a good thing!) and i directly get to see tuesday's show. (seeing which we all know is .. well, usually .. a good thing.)
no? 😆 'cause the precap looked .. dull (meaning it was full of laluchacha, veera, dheer and his eyes) and hysterical drama. hmm. or does that mean the same thing? sorry, i forgot. 😆
* little thing: er, laluchacha knows that heer's father is dead, right? i mean, really dead? what was that little thing about blessing the kids, and calling from the heart? er... which heart? or is he thinking that like heer-meher has walked back into his life, one day balraj maan will also come back? or is he thinking that the heart will start beating once the ... umm ... stake is removed from it? i want to know.
* prem-heer thing: seriously, didn't anyone else think that the look that prem-heer shot at laluchacha from their crouch on the floor was "er, bauji, are you getting delusional after the hysteria of the last two months? you do know that death is final? and that reincarnation at best, means that your friend could return as a littul baby? who will receive blessings rather than give it? er.. bauji??"
* big thing: okay,i know i'm going to get hit today. but i was laughing throughout the whole prem-heer show. seriously! it was soooooo strange seeing them today. it was like watching a totally different prem-heer! not that i didn't .. uh .. like it. i just wasn't sure how i liked it. seriously. it was just ... strange.
even then. there were things that made me smile like this 😍
* heer thing #1: totally loved how she matched his eyes head on, stare-for-stare. she always has, i guess. but today, there was very little of the drop-my-lashes-before-my-beloved act that she usually does. here, it was all out in the open. heer's little heart behaves differently when her love is accepted by all. same for prem -- there was an open-ness to him today that was very new, and heartbreakingly nice.
'cause upto now, prem-heer being one was something prem said ;oudly and clearly, shouting from the rooftop! today, they are one, in front of all the world. sigh. how ... brilliantly sweet.
* heer thing #2: heer does the best "come-hither" looks at prem that a girl has ever done on tv! those eyes - clear, frank, desirous! - in that superbly unadorned beautiful face. example:
no wonder prem keeps running after her! at one point, even i was tempted to run into the monitor after her. 🤣
* prem-heer thing: why the heck did they bother to stand with other people if all they were going to do was look googly-eyed at each other? why?? silly prem-heer. 😆
* little thing: loved that little girl in white to whom young mr. juneja gave away heer's flower to. she was soooo shy and sweet. and i felt soooo sad when young mr. juneja hastily dumped her on the other random guy, before hop-skip-running away after his heer. after all, what's a guy to do when he is constantly flashed with come-hither heer-looks!
* prem thing: i love hop-skip-running-around-corners prem. there was something terribly elegant about prem's .. er ... frame! that's it! ☺️.. frame that showed up best then. really.
* prem-heer thing: "heer", (heartbeat), "yes, prem?" (full of expectation)
and then, of course, prem has to do his i'm-a-200-year-old-poetking spiel about hearts and heartbeats. i totally understood heer zoning out of the conversation and staring instead at his .. um .. mouth. totally understood it!
i'm just suprised she didn't stop him with a kiss and then using his own words "ho gaya tumhara bakwas?"
now that i'd have really liked to have seen! 🤣
* prem-heer hands thing: as always, the chemistry of the hands rock. and rock big time! that moment when prem grabbed heer's hand as they are reaching down for their miniature partners. and prem holds her hands so tight that she has to struggle to get it back -- meltdown moment #2 for me in this show. (we need an emoticon that shows a little nuclear explosion happening in the head! i need it! 😆)
oh, and totally loved preet's face when he saw what prem was doing... 😆
* heer thing #3: totally loved her setting up that moment of falling into his arms at the dance! it was such a setup! and i loved it! go, heer! woot,woot,woot! and what a perfect opportunity to "come-hither" prem into the garden... go, heer! 👏
* prem-heer thing: but in the end, both of them chicken out. they both fight it out till the very moment. but then, heer chickens out. and a moment later, prem chickens out! gaaaah! who else had a brow that furrowed when prem carefully shut those glass doors? and who else cracked their fingers on the tv-monitor when they reached out to grab prem's sleeve to keep him there with heer??! (ouch! my knuckles still smart!)
* heer thing #4: i liked her full and embarassed grin at gayatri mom when she's discovered dreaming about prem's kiss. who else wanted to knock prem on the head for being mean and sending gayatri mom out to the garden to get heer into the dance? 😆
* prem-heer hands thing: oh, it was sooo sweet when prem's fingers curled around heer's. if these two - the hands! - don't get nominated in best jodi award contests, i'm hiring sidrah to do andolans for me -- at whatever price she wants! and we all know what happens when sidrah does andolans, don' t we?? heh. heh. heh.
* little thing: by this time, i was suffering totally burnout on thinking front. so it was a huge relief to get mr villain rampal and his little nepali-sidekick on the screen!
but prem-heer thing: they were the last couple to notice that the music had stopped, the dancing had stopped and that they had an intruder in their midst! 😍
* little thing: what? you want me to say what i thought of mr. rampal's little drama?? er, did i mention a brain-burnout? 😆 okay. i think there's no fear of mr. rampal getting romantically interested in heer, meher, ash, or any other female in the show. not any male either. that relationship with his secretary seems to be a .. um .. a little too close for anyone/thing to come in between. (sorry, triv's-goaty, you're out! 🤣)
* little thing: 530 crores for a hotel is too little? even if it's in little ludhiana? hmmm...
* little thing: approved of the way laluchacha dealt with mr. rampal. no screams. no hysteria. nice.
* prem thing: silly angry prem face. for once, preet got his expression better than prem. go preet! 😊
* little thing: liked preet's instintive desire to bash mr. rampal's face in. expected prem's grab to rein his little brother's anger in. sigh.
* little thing: so is this the first juneja party where no-one got hysterical and noise-polluted their guests ears? was it 'cause there were little children present? hmm...
* little thing: so is dheer a love angle, or a villain angle? why do i get the feeling that dheer and mr. rampal have a dheeper relationship than meets the eye?
* big thing: i do wonder who will win in this fight. in one corner, mr. rampal+omnipotent-omniscient-sidekick+dheer? vs. old-mr.juneja-and-his-sons? i think it'll be fun as long as young mr. juneja manages to get married in between the whole fight.
highlight of the episode: hmm, what to choose? what to choose? got it!
