Love the way you interpreted Gayatri mom's scene with Prem...I think that she was the only one that could have helped him then...she was the only one that could tell him how to go about making sure his love emerges victorious in face of the obstacle. After all, she's the only one that has really supported him through every step of his love for Heer - ever since day one. She knew it the minute he returned from Shiv mandir, and ever since, she's fought with him for his love. It was beautiful. She was on the verge of breaking down herself, seeing her son in that condition, yet she held herself together so she could be strong for him. These two indeed have a wonderful relationship. I love how you said they must have had some gehra rishta in a past life. So apt.

The Mother - Son Scene...and the father - son scene/.... what remains to be seen are the mother - daughter, father - daughter scenes... Here the best part is that they are showing the mom as a friend..kinda reminds me of the bond i share with my own mom.... I am looking forward to the father - daughter scenes though here in the soap.... girls are papa ki paris.... dont ya think so...

What blew me away today was that you said that Prem is so in love with Heer. I was always talking about his love for Heer, and their oneness, and their being two halfs of a whole. I've always talked about the depth of their love. I always talked about the complicated aspects of their love. I never actually took a minute just to reflect on the simple fact that yes - he is in love with Heer. The thought instantly put a smile on my face. Thank You For That.
