Hi Guys,
I guess right now the general mood of almost everyone is melancholy and ambigious. Dont blame any of you though coz I am just as badđ I keep thinking what the? what the? what the? and then I realised that I was saying it loudly and getting looks from peopleđ˛....this is my state of mind...or lack therof....but anyway I was thinking....yes a new concept for me, i know.....that how series of unfortunate events can predict doom.....
Think about it?any story when told it starts and then it ends....look at any big authour or even a movie...it has a concept and it starts and it ends....there are sub plots no doubt but it does not ruin the theme of the story itself...the basic rule of english literature is keep it simple or even stick to basics....I dont know which school did the creatives of KDMHMD went to but they are unaware of this fact.....they have ruined a show that could have possible be the best in the indian cinema...when you are telling a story to a child or even to an adult you dont start with one thing and then make it so complicated that a person wonders why did i ever ask to start with????the sub plots are an important part and i dont deny that...what i deny is you dont make sub plots the main plot.....if you have read james patterson or even shidney sheldon or even oscar wilde for that matter you would know that they have millions of sub plots BUT it never affects the overall story....here the creatives are supposed to be creative...but they are dumbative......no idea where the head starts and leg begins....let me tell you what I THINK went wrong with this show and the MISTAKES NUMBERS:
1. KDMHMD started out very well, great concept, great story and great cast....the first big mistake was to drag Heer's RAAZ........in doing so they ruined the essence of the whole story.....if at that mandap where prem doesnt marry ashlesha, if the raaz was outsed then they would have had many more ways to continue the story....bring out madmeet's raaz at the mandap that way prashant would have revealed QB's treachery and then heer's raaz would have been out....that way 3 things are over and one track is done......the raaz was a big deal no doubt and then the whole QB thing would have been in everyone's face but they could have had heer forgive her chachi(heer is meek anyway) and move on.....
2. Second big mistake was to bring so many sub plots and then having no idea what to do with it.....they brought many new people without having any idea how to manage them......once it was found that madmeet is mad .....finish that track....then complete heer's raaz'z track and then move on to another....when we go to work or even in simple life we dont take 10things in our hand and finish it when we feel like it....when we read a book we dont start with page 25 and to 1 and then to the end....we read it systamatically.....the reason bidaai is so popular is because it runs properly....the raaz and tears are there too but they know how to handle it...first sadhana's raaz to save her family, then that raaz was revealed, then sonia's raaz and then that was revealed and now ragini and ranvir's story...see it starts and it ends...thats how it should be....
3. Third big mistake was to keep bringing more RAAZ'z.....we dont know what happened to madmeet's, heer's,vishkanya's, RR's and then we have nihal's???????????????there was no need for this....we really dont care about it....i know out of all of my friends her almost 85% would agree with me that too many raaz's.......why????this is where the story went all over the place and no direction.....
4.th Big mistake was not to show prem and heer love develope.....this is supposed to be a love story.....so show us that....creatives had a great concept when prem and heer moved out....great ambience but they ruined it there too with that creepy creepy father son love.....they had a month's worth of work with prem and heer love and romance and all but what did they do?????they showed so much of prem and his dad that we all thought what the heck is this????even for fiction it was unberable.....
5.th big mistake was not giving us prem and heer and concentrating on other tracks than no one cared about....when a person watches love story they watch it to see some light moments....if i wanted to see a crying movie i ll watch rudali or something .......i kept watching it because of my friends mel,trivy,sidda, nanadoo di, tuls, E and all but i am not happy.....
6.th big mistake is now the creatives have no idea how to bring the story back........so they have decided to either give us dream sequence or reincarnation track.....again we will watch it coz of HC and AG but do creatives know that my neice who is 6yrs old can say a better story than this???????they are supposed to be creative but they are lost..................
If the would have given us one sub plot or even two at a time and dealt with them first and then bring another sub plots this story would have been on top long time ago...now we are lost, we are angry and we are confused..........yes thats the right word .......CONFUSED!!!!!!!!! who, what, why, how,when...........thats the question we all are asking to each other and no one has any idea of anything.....even when i was watching that very old series Humlog long time ago it had one story and that was finished and then another one....
I am not sure what ekta has in her mind or even she has a mind but she needs to get new creatives....she really does because the current one have no idea of anything and they are playing by the ear...it shouldnt be that way.....
