September 19th Written Update
Afreen is shown still dressed up in her bridal suit, "talking to Kabir" on her cell phone. She is complaining about how he isnt here yet and how she is angry at him for being late. She says its been 24 hours. She wont forgive him this time. Then she laughs and goes, "accha baba, I'll forgive you, and talk to you. But please come home soon. I miss you a lot" From the back, Mazhar is passing by when he sees/hears her. He comes in and says, "bhabi?! Who were you talking to?"
Afreen goes, "who would I be talking to? I was talking to Kabir" Mazhar just goes, "sorry, did I disturb you?" Afreen goes scared na? I will scare him like this as well. He's so late. To tell you the truth, I didn't talk to him. I keep calling him, but it says his phone his switched off. Why is it switched off? Mazhar begins to say, "bhaijaan is very-" Afreen cuts in, "I planned such a surprise for him with such love. And its all ruined. You know what present I'm giving him?"
Mazhar closes his eyes in pain. Afreen brings the little figurine of the Taj Mahal she had bought for Kabir. She shows it to Mazhar and says, someone told her that Taj Mahal should not be gifted. Its a sign of separation, but how would she know, in Kabir and my love, there is no such thing as separation right? Ok now I'm gonna put this away. When Kabir comes I will give it to him.
Mazhar begins to leave. Afreen stops him and gives him the watch Kabir'd given her. She tells him that the watch wont work, and Kabir said his breaths are associated with that watch. She asks him to fix it before Kabir comes. Mazhar just walks out. Afreen is just angry at him.
Azaan and Mr. Khan are at the construction site. The guy there sympathizes with them and says Kabir was in such a hurry he didnt hear him. The bomb is always blown up there. Azaan goes there in his car and screams blow up, kill me! His dad comes in his car and slaps him. They have some emotional talks when Azaan says he cant live knowing Kabir died because of him.
At the Khan house, everyone is very upset, and not even eating their food. Nadira phoppi is forcing Afreen to wear black clothes and Afreen wont listen. Mr. Khan yells at Nadira to leave Afreen alone and let her do whatever she wants.
