July 18th Update
The scene starts off at Khan house. Zareen aunty is calling out to khala and Qurban Ali asking where all these people have gone? They all probably fooled around until fajr azan. And that Qurban Ali! He probably had joined them too! Instead of talking to me, he is sleeping. She knocks on Kabir's door.
Her husband comes, "who sold who's horses, I didn't buy any, ohooo, your dear son has returned after so many years, and he is still sleeping?"
"Not still sleeping, he just slept, they were fooling around all night. I had thought that today I'd introduce him to Karina" his wife replied.
Mr. Khan goes, "Arrey begum, don't take his freedom away so soon, he just returned, and anyways, from tomorrow on, I am giving his full charge of my office. I first want to teach him this work and stuff, and then you can talk about his marriage. I am handling it all today, from tomorrow on Kabir will handle it. Emaan sai begum, I'm doing all this to spend all the time I can spend with you, and you won't understand!" He puts his arm around her, and she smacks him on the chest, (lol getting hit by your wife tsk tsk tsk)
Mr. Khan, "always hitting me" They laugh, and kinda hug lol.
At Hasan house, Mr. Hasan is circling jobs he finds in the newspaper and discussing them with Afreen. They receive a call- Afreen picks up. Its for her mom. Her mom comes and talks quietly, but Afreen and her dad can hear. The person calling is her friend Hina who is offering her a job in a boutique. Afreen and her dad are shocked.
Mr. Hasan comes to his wife and goes, what is this naila? You give me support, and then by asking people for work like this, you make me feel so down through my eyes (nazron mein bhola)
Naila says if wife can be a life partner, cant she be a helper?
Afreen goes, ammi, you are right in your place, but your health wont allow you to work so much (okay, naila aunty doesn't look that old, she looks quite young actually lol she could pass for Afreen's oldest sis man! lol)
Afreen goes, ammi cant daughters take the place of sons?
Naila goes, we never said that beta. Afreen goes so then my dearest ammi and abbu, as long as im here you both don't have to worry about how we will get money in this house. I have a degree in law, and your prayers, ill get a job like this(she snaps her finger) They all agree. Naila tells her to go to a durga and put up a chadar there before her interview.
Afreen goes there and prays. She asks allah to fulfill her prayer, I'll come to your mazaar next time and put up the chadar myself, and feed 10 fakeers, she basically asks for protection and support during her interview from Allah.
While leaving, she is stopped by an old man sitting outside the mazaar. And he says some stuff about how gaur kar ho na ho yahin tera naseeb hai. Just then, a car stops in front of the mazaar, and Kabir gets out of it. (here comes her naseeb! lol) The special background music, (tusay naina lagday or whatever lol) starts playing as Afreen goes down the stairs and Kabir goes up the same stairs. They pass each other, we see from some hidden camera the top of their heads, as they pass each other without seeing each other. (Both stood out cuz they were both wearing white if anyone cares to know)
Afreen's duppata is so long, it gets off her head and the end gets attachd to Kabir's jacket sleeve (the button or something, or maybe he had cuff links, who knows? lol) Afreen turns around and stares at his back as he goes up, she basically keeps on staring at him. She then shakes her head and leaves. She gets to the interview place and thanks God that there is only one other person being interview besides her.
She takes a seat, and the other interviewee is called inside. Afreen thinks to herself there is a 50/50 chance, I think I might get the job. The interviewee comes out and goes I got the job! Afreen congratulates her. The receptionist tells her not to feel bad, Allah gives to kaabil people, even if its later.
Afreen goes home where everyone is sitting around. She goes to her Abbu and goes, "I'm sorry"
The dad goes you didn't get the job? Its ok, that just means today wasn't your day. She goes there are many ads in the newspaper, inshallah I will get a job. Her dad goes you wont search for a job from tomorrow. Everyone is shocked. *suspenseful music plays*
Everyone stands as Afreen asks her dad why he is saying that, and doesn't he trust her?
Mr. Hasan goes I do trust you, and after a pause goes, from tomorrow everything is changing in our house.
Evil chachi thinks "Seems like bhaijaan ka dimag hilgaya hai in do din mein "
Mr. Hasan continues, "because from now on, in my company, in my place, Afreen will work, the offer came, just give an interview tomorrow for formality." Everyone eats sweets as this, and are happy.
Mr. Khan enters his office to see all his files all over the place. He goes "who went through my files?"
The chair is turned around as we see Kabir smile at his dad. "hi dad" the dad smiles and asks him what he is doing there. Kabir goes, I finished all your work in one day. The dad is impressed. Kabir told him that he learned two things in America "one, the pressure of time, and two, to get work done on time because the pressure of time ruins business, and health"
The dad goes I think this seat has found its right owner. Kabir goes no, this seat only has ronak when you sit on it. Son-dad moment when they talk about business and stuff. Kabir gives his dad a diabetes check machine so he can check his sugar at home.
As a friend, his dad asks him what kind of wife he wants. He looks out his window and goes I haven't thought about that yet. But the girl should be one that, respects elders, loves youngsters, and is friendly with people our age, who is beautiful, *background music plays, and as Kabir talks about "his girl" we see Afreen looking out her window as well.*
K- "So nazuk that its scary to touch her, but plans so strong, that its hard to move them, I am sure, that Allah will make a girl like this my mustaqbil"
Afreen prays, "Humara mustaqbil ab tere haath mein hai, yeh naukri mujhe diladay mere mahboob"
Kabir goes as soon as I see that girl I'll know its her, then, no one will be able to separate us.
Afreen prays on "You saw my dad's tears, saw the bad day I went through, I know that this wont happen again and tomorrow will be the last day of problems for me and my house Ameen"
