hey mansi101590, just remember all that is show on tv is not 100% correct, so do make a point of finding out what is real n what has been made up by the writers.

otherwise the serial is quite good so far, but if they r trying to depict muslim lifestyle, there not much really they r showing...the basics of a muslim lifestyle have not even been touched yet

Well I agree the show is in its early stages and more is to come. The show is showing many things that happen in the muslim culture such as the way they speak the language and how they react to their parents. What they dont show is namaz which is an absoulute must for Muslims. As far as Afreen wearing sleevless its not that big of deal as she is living in Dubai in modern time and is confident and has clean and strong heart. You would be surprised what Muslims girls do here in the U.S. But for the most part they are trying and they can only improve, so lets see whats going to happen next!

i know so many girls who live in the middle east and they wear worst cloths then american so i wouldn't contradict on the clothes. a lot of muslims who are native middle eastern are worst then a lot of o people in europe and america, but not showing the namaz and the keep doing "adab" i belong to a urdu speaking family but we don't do "adab" at all no one does anymore.

Muslim or nonmuslim the shows over do most of the things. Most of the shows are about richie rich so they can afford those big poojas at home. In hindu families most don't have big pooja at home more than once a year if that. They are expensive and lot of work. pandit takes money and prashd (offrings) are dryfruits, fruits and halawa so all that adds up. Rich people don't have time and all others don't have money. Lot of people take prashd to tample or offer money to tample for pooja.
About dargah there are few in india and even hindus go there. Lot of it is that of a local saint and what people believe in. It is not even about religion but more of a faith.
Clothes in the show is a important part of attracting audiance. Be honest how many of us want to watch sad looking plain clothes. Even in real life once a person have money they follow homemade traditions and life style.
I say stop over analyzing and start enjoying.

yes.. being a muslim myself, i am not subjected to wearing a hijab and salwar all the time... i wear jeans too... and about muslim gerls having to cover up, well lets just say, you guys are in for a shock if u ever visit singapore and have a look at the muslim gerls over here... as far as the hugging thing goes, generally its not allowed but it is a modern world we're living in and i assure you, some are up to worst things than hugging... these kind of pple makez hugging look very decent...

i just know one thing: wearing a hijab doesnt make you a more pious and better muslim. The point is wearing decent clothes. There are Muslims I know who are dont even wear decent outfits. So its same everywhere.

The most important things being a Muslim is to perform all the 5 pillars of Islam dutifully.
