The episode starts with the outside of a mosque, azan being recited. We see a girl doing namaz (prayers), but we don't see her face. We also see a man (middle-age) <her dad>, doing namaz. Its morning, a lady comes to her husband with tea. (The husband is the same guy who was doing namaz earlier) He puts his arm around her, and asks if she remembers the day of their nikkah, and goes you were very beautiful, to which she says, was? What do you mean by that? I am not beautiful anymore? He tells her that she is still as beautiful, and they smile.
We then see the photo album in his hands. There are three girls and one guy in the picture, and he says that the girls all look like little devils. There is one pic missing, and the lady goes, what happened to Yasir's pic, it was in this empty spot. The man goes, those sons who leave their parents when they get older, don't deserve to be in the album, I have taken him out from my heart as well. It would be best if you don't say his name in front of me anymore. (The lady's name is Naila I believe) The lady is shocked, and both are sad. The guy goes, now I have all my expectations from my daughters, from Afreen… who came to our house as the first light of Aftab…
Afreen makes her entry here. The song "Afreen Afreen" by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan plays in the back as we see Afreen, dressed in white shalwar kameez, running around all over the place, playing with bangles, etc. (She looks like Aamna Shariff a bit here)
We see an alarm bell ringing, and two girls sleeping in one room, under the covers. One drops the alarm, and Afreen picks it up, saying Kambakth, it got injured but still remained its sound. She goes, we only have half an hour to get everything ready. The girls wake up at this. They are planning a surprise party for their dad.
Talking about their dad, he closes the photo album now, and they discuss how, he is getting a promotion that day. They hear the girls giggling, and go out to see them. The girls tell their dad they are celebrating his promotion, and just then we see a sari-clad lady listening. The girls say that now their abbu can fulfill all their wishes. One of them (dressed in baggy cargo(?) pants and red shirt) goes that her "khwaish" is to become the world's top-class model for which she is gonna need tons of clothes, makeup, and a portfolio. Another one goes I want to get admission to the best mass-communication institute. Then, Afreen goes her "khwaish" is that all her sister's wishes get fulfilled, because I know, that whatever they get, they will always share with me.
(The girl in baggy pants and red shirt is Tambreen. The shalwar kameez one who wants to get into the mass communication college is Nasreen.)
The dad goes, that elders have said that the person who doesn't wish anything for themselves, Allah opens His door of rehmatein for them. The girls then dress up their dad in a suit. Tambreen cant go with him, and neither can Nasreen or his wife, which gets him a bit sad. Afreen goes, I am going to come with you!
We see another house being decorated and a lady walking around going there is only 1 hour and 19 minutes left till my son comes home, and nothing has been done right. One lady tells her not to worry. The lady goes khala, my son is coming home after so many years. The khala goes to the lady who has Nadrath bibi seen for Kabir. The lady goes her name is Karina, and she is very literate, and pretty much perfect. She has been invited to the party so Kabir can meet her.
Nadrath bibi (lady with short hair) makes her entry here, standing on the stairs listening. A girl comes, and hugs her mom. She asks her mom how she looks in her clothes. The mom asks her why she didn't wear what she (the mom) wanted her (the daughter) to wear. The daughter goes those clothes were too old-fashioned, I'm gonna wear this. The lady goes I just thought you would look more graceful in those clothes. The daughter gets angry and goes our taste doesn't match at all, and leaves from there. Her names is Naz btw. Nadrath stops Naz and goes your looking gorgeous, so what if your taste doesn't match with your mom, your and my taste is exactly the same. Naz is happy.
We see the mom angry at her husband, who is talking to someone about business. The lady goes, if anything goes wrong in my son's party, then that wont be good at all. The husband disconnects his call, and his assistant or something tells the lady that the party is prepared exactly like you want it. the husband comes and goes do it again, The lady looks at him quizzically. The man goes "anger", I swear to God wifey, you look very cute in anger. <tussi ghussay mein bari cute lagti hai> (aww lol)
They talk about their children, about how they have three sons, and the mom goes Kabir is closest to your heart. The dad goes Kabir will make a good husband like me, if we find the perfect girl like I did. Zareen (his wife) now tells him about Karina, and her husband requests her to not throw Karina proposal at Kabir, because he will accept it without listening to his heart.
At the party place, Afreen and her dad get out of the taxi, and Afreen is awed at the huge hotel. Inside, she realizes she forgot her purse in the taxi, she leaves to retrieve it.
We see reporters going that the Khan's oldest son is returning to the country after 7 years. His name is Mr. Kabir Khan. We see smoke as a guy makes his entry. And.. *the moment we've been waiting for* a guy makes his entry, but he isn't any of the guys shown with Afreen in the title song. Everyone welcomes him, and he is all saying hello to all the ladies. Just then, someone calls out to him "Qurban, what are you doing here where is Kabir bro?" (HAHAHA) One of the girls go, you aren't Kabir Khan? Who are you?
He introduces himself as Qurban Ali, one of Kabir saab's "special people". Afreen enters the elevator, and presses a button. Just then, a guy comes and stops the doors from closing with his foot and enters the elevator. Both haven't seen each other. Both exit elevator and go separate ways. *loved the music that played during elevator ride*
People welcome Mr Kabir Khan to Dubai. Afreen enters Kabir's party and goes wow, such an awesome huge party for my dad, but where is he? Just then, Qurban Ali sees Afreen standing there with her purse, on top of the stairs, looking for her dad. Looking at her, his mouth drops open as he goes "Afreen"
Afreen hears and turns around, "You recognize me?"
Qurban Ali- yes, I recognized you as soon as I saw you, you are exactly how I heard you would be!
Afreen- Ji?
Qurban Ali- we have been waiting for you, come on in
He takes her inside the party, and does a victory dance as he goes in his head "wah Qurban Ali, you are great, recognized Karina ma'am at first sight" (UH OH!! LOL!!)
He makes her wait as he goes to Kabir. Afreen thinks to herself, "what a weird man"
Qurban Ali goes to Kabir and goes "she is here sir, this is Karina, the girl your parents have chosen for you" Kabir looks at her smiling face. Kabir goes; no one has introduced us yet. Qurban Ali pushes him to go meet Afreen.
Kabir goes and extends his hand, introducing himself. Afreen doesn't take his hand. They chat a little, in which he asks her if she got there safely, and she goes yea, I can't find my dad. Afreen goes, "yeh to peeche hi par gaya hai"
He tells her about coming from America, and planning on moving forward in his career. (Afreen goes is he trying to impress me by talking about American LMAO) Kabir goes, I don't think we should be so forward in serious matters like marriage. Afreen goes is this guy crazy? (in her head) He goes I don't want to marry you now. Afreen goes what are you talking about?
Kabir thinks she minded, and goes please don't take my rejection to your heart please, its not that I don't like you, I'm just not ready for marriage Karina. Afreen goes Karina, Karina who? I'm not Karina. Kabir is shocked.
