Zee tv will usher in some changes in the New Year, and the
first in line to come will be the launch of Rajan Shahi's
(Director's Kut) sensitive love story, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya .
So which is the show that will bid adieu? Well, we have the
answer here. Khelti Hai Zindagi...Aankh Micholi, produced by
Zee TV's in-house production, Esselvision Productions will be
the show to go off air.
A reliable source tells us that Aankh Micholi will air its last
episode on 3 January 2014. The actors and the unit members
were notified about this development yesterday.
Aankh Micholi which was the comeback vehicle of Gautami
Kapoor was launched on 9 September 2013; it failed to get
even decent numbers. The recent replacement of Ulka Gupta
with Helly Shah and the resultant controversies did not help
the cause either. On the whole, the star presence of actors like
Gautami Kapoor, Manav Gohil, Shoma Anand and others failed
to make an impact on the audience.
When contacted, an actor on basis of anonymity from the sets
of Aankh Micholi did confirm that they have been intimated of
the show's closure.
We hear that the creative team is now left with little time to
crack the ending, which will of course be a hurried one.
As we bid adieu to Aankh Micholi, we wish all the luck to
Rajan Shahi and his new show.

We expected a lot from this show but unfortunately they couldn't continue the way they started this show with an amazing concept..!!
So it's better to end this show..!

Sad but good decision. It had such a lovely concept and then the CVs just lost the plot.. What a waste of 2 stellar performers!!

Again...started off with a great concept but fell in the trap of same old same old saas bahu nonsense. When will these creators learn !!! 🤢

Agreed...wow its like we are in previous century to see Prabha abusing Shruti and kids and Sanjay standing and staring at his mom listening.

Can the guy grow a spine and do anything beyond staring. its like his common sense has disappeared post marriage. Before marriage he used to fight for his rights. Now its as if, he doesn't care since he got what he wanted (marriage to Shruti). Every time his mom says "outsiders are staying in the house", all he does is stare and stare. Its seriously bugging.

I know it sounds a little harsh but his character needs some redemption. The way he is letting his children and wife be insulted by his family members shows an utter lack of responsibility.
