DRISHTI
Aditi, a young girl has recently moved with her fiance, Ajay, to Mumbai. One morning as she is goes to the bus stop, she experiences a strange vision defect - objects seem either farther or nearer than their actual position. She is disturbed about this and share this problem with her fiance, Ajay. Ajay reassures her that its because of fatigue. However, at night, she gets up with a start again and the distance of everthing in her house appears to be distorted. She is possessed. She starts harming herself - slits her wrists and becomes unconsious. In the morning, she tells this to her fiance and he takes her to an eye specialist. As the doctors begin to examine her, she gets possessed and goes hysterical. Doctor is puzzeled to see her in that state and tells Ajay that is beyond the purview of medical science. Ajay takes her to a tantrik, who performs a yagna to ward off the evil spirit in her and gives her a taweez which will always protect her. Just when Ajay and Aditi begin to feel that their lives have back to normal, Ajay gets possessed by the evil spirit. His vision gets distorted and he attacks his fiance. They both go to the tantrik again and this time tantrik does the ritual on him and gives him a taweez. Aditi and Ajay decide to leave Mumbai forever and go back to Delhi. They are lulled to sleep in the taxi and when they wake up, they are terrified to notice that there is no driver in the taxi. Ajay takes control over the steering but it seems difficult to control. All doors are locked. They ram into a tree. Later at night, when Ajay regains consciousness, he discovers that Aditi is dead. Six months later, Ajay has joined back in a firm in Delhi. An old friend comes up to him and tells them that she also works in the same office and was sorry to hear about the accident and the death of his fiance. As they exit the room, the friend turns and looks at Aditi's picture and tells him that Ajay was always hers!
