Leadership awards and a glitzy party
The 4th edition of the IAA Leadership Awards at a hotel in sub urban Mumbai brought together corporate leaders, creative minds, and was presided by Chief Guest, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju, as top honours were handed out for their path-breaking leadership in the fields of marketing, media and advertising. In his address to the audience, Rijiju spoke about the importance of celebrating marketers and advertisers through an event of this magnitude. He further added that it is the leaders of today that have catapulted the country's perception globally , gaining them widespread recognition and honour.
Some of the winners from the evening were Kumar Mangalam Birla, who was awarded the CEO of the year, Rajat Sharma won the Best News Anchor award, Josy Paul won the Creative Agency Head of the year and Ashish Bhasin, the Media Agency Head of the year. Sanjay Gupta won the award of the Editor of the Year while Raj Nayak, CEO of Colors, was named the Media Person of the year. The exclusive event attended by the who's who of advertising, media and marketing world, also awarded actor Varun Dhawan as the Brand Ambassador of the year.
The event was followed by a star-studded glitzy party celebrating Colors' eight successful years of entertainment. The evening saw stars from Bollywood and the television industry including Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Dino Morea, Sophie Choudry , Sonali Bendre, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ekta Kapoor, Jeetendra, Sikander Kher etc. Other television celebrities such as Krushna Abhishek, Sidharth Shukla, Tanishaa Mukerji, Mouni Roy , Rashami Desai, Vivian Dsena, Helly Shah, Meiyang Chang, Sana Khan, Andy, Ashish Chowdhry, Siddharth Nigam,Nia Sharma,Ellie Avram, Karan Tacker, Mandana Karimi, Ragini Khanna, Karishma Tanna, Mandira Bedi and many more were present.
