In any sporting events athletes are continuously urine drug tested for cortisol and other potentially performance enhancing drugs and if found guilty they are evicted from the tournaments for being guilty of "doping". If the doping results are out after they already won medals, those medals are taken away from them.

So there is no excuse to doping. Vikas might argue he was taking it for pain relieve, mood enhancing whatever but he is smart enough to understand that it's still doping! I am glad he is kicked out.
