that's really strange... You wont believe, but for the first few years of my office life, I was lietrally all silent in the office. People used to think that I am a very shy girl when in reality I love to chat. But not the chat which goes in office.. People will always be cursing the seniors or pulling your legs unnecessarily... Thank God we have different desks and since we are attached with the reporting desk, we are blessed to be away from the gossips rather we are surrounded with politics or crime discussions. But when I was on another desk, girls would talk about so many unnecessary things that I used to prefer keeping mum... And you talk to a boy and next day you become the topic of discussion...

But its not all bad, may be you will start liking it after few days till you get friendly with them... They possibly might be good at heart...
