Aside from Ramayan and Chidiya Ghar, Debina also acted in a Tamil fantasy series from 2005-2006 called Mayavi, where she played a negative character opposite her husband, television heartthrob Gurmeet Choudhary. In 2010, Debina acted in three episodic roles in the mythological series, Mahima Shani Dev Ki, where she played the characters of Princess Damayanti, Mahasati Savritri, and a village girl Ganga. In the same year, Debina and Gurmeet acted in a short documentary movie called Nayi Chetna, which spread a positive message to society about the benefits of blood donation.
Debina began her career by playing small roles in a few South Indian movies, and after the completion of Ramayan she was a participant in many reality shows, such as Pati Patni aur Woh, Aahat, Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout, Star Ya Rockstar, Welcome-Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki, Nach Baliye: Shriman v/s Shrimati, Nach Baliye Season 6 and Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5: Darr Ka Blockbuster. Out of these reality shows, Debina was with her husband Gurmeet Choudhary in Pati Patni aur Woh, Shriman v/s Shrimati, Nach Baliye 6, and Khatron Ke Khiladi.
On February 15, 2011, Debina and Gurmeet Choudhary tied the knot in a small ceremony amidst their family and close friends. Having been together since 2004, this couple's love and dedication to each other is stronger every year.
Debina has received a lot of popularity and appreciation for her dancing skills in Nach Baliye - Season 6. A trained classical dancer, she improved her dancing by leaps and bounds and won 2nd place in the show with her husband Gurmeet. Debina has also received a lot of appreciation for her daring stunts in Colors' reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi. She was declared "Bengal Ki Sherni" by the other contestants for her daring wit, speed, and dexterity.
