moong dhal and dill idli
ingredients .
moong dhal 2 cups
chana dhal 1 cup.
one big onion(usa) 2 if indian
chopped green chilli 4 to 5
salt
dill chopped ( for south indians)
methi for those who dontlike dill.
method :
soak moong dhal and chana dhal separately in water for 18 to 20 hrs .then grind moong dhal to paste with very little water . grind chana dhal coarsly . add finely chopped onion ,green chilli salt and dill. mix everything together .just like how u make idli samilarly put this mixture on idli stand and keep in cooker for 15 to 20 mins . eat with coconut chutney or chutney of your choice .
