Agree pallavi!! Age is jst a number n it does nt matter if 2 ppl love each other..one more thing which I got frm jlz story is "sabar ka phal meetha hota hai"(lol nt dv's dialogue) bt everyone will get their true love one day 😉

EXCELLENT. THIS IS RESULT OF OLD TRACK OF jlz. nEW TRACK IS SCARY AND BRINGING FEAR BACK FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE OF ELDER AGE AND WANTED TO GET MARRY. SHOWING EVERY FIRST OCCASION OF SARUV IS SPOILED. THEY SHOULD BRING THE OLD JLZ BACK. WHOMSOEVER IS PROPOSING THIS STORY SEEMS TO BE FRUSTRATED AND FACED THE SAME THINGS IN LIFE AND IMPOSING ON US. OLD ONE WAS AWESOMEEE.

Pallavi... Lovely post, and so glad you shared your personal experience with us. Wish for your cousin to have a superb life ahead... and really happy that you were able to support & guide her through.

JLZ indeed has changed a lot of perceptions about the age factor in people, especially where marriage is concerned. Truly, JLZ defied the norm and proved that age is just a number.

Like most of us here... JLZ certainly changed my outlook too. A couple of months ago, even I would have thought otherwise if there ever was any kind of thought of marrying a younger guy. Coz when you cross the so-called 'marriageable age' ... people only think of getting you married off to widowers or divorcees! It's happened with me... and so am saying.

Ofcourse... where marriage is concerned, I'll cross the bridge when I get there, not even thinking about any of that for now! The show has certainly changed my perspective... not just in terms of marriage, but somewhat about life in general. I personally relate to Saachi a lot... and after watching the show, I now do realize I need to give myself some time... and most importantly, love myself too. Now... I feel the need to JEE LE ZARA! And that itself has brought about a lot more 'happy' changes in my life! 😳

media esp print n other media like movies,soaps ve greater impact on people. so it's responsibility of makers to show healthy things I.e some civic responsibility of showing healthy things n also viewers responsibility as god given discretion gift n wise ppl use it wisely.

Thanks you for sharing your views Aparna. I am today a firm believer that age should have very little or no significance in a marital relationship. Love, compatibility and commitment matters the most.

JLZ has a lot to convey to its audience and the characters of this serial were so well scripted (especially initially) that it touched our heart strings. I hope my cousin's sabar ka phal will be meetha 😃
