The overall episode was not bad at all. It flowed well and showed different dynamics of a family and the amount of adjustment a new person has to make to get used to that family.
The way Saachi was scolded for keeping her husband tied to herself and for not making DV responsible and then again similar taunts at the breakfast table told her what respect her husband has in that house. It kind of opened her eyes too as she was under the impression that DVs family loves him, respects him.
Loved how she opened up and communicated with DV and made him calm down. The best dialogue was "agar tumhari respect nahin hai to meri bhi koi respect nahin hogi" - what a brilliant dialogue and so true. In a family, a husband has to make place for his wife. He is the one who bridges the gap between his family and wife. He is the one who tries to earn respect for his wife. The show clearly showed the communication between husband and wife and also showed how badly a wife gets affected if her husband is not respected because everything after marriage is "OURS"... beautiful way to put forth the point. And see the effect on DV - he agreed and realised and became responsible overnight as he cannot play with his Saachi's respect.
Loved the morning scene too. Playful, romantic DV but responsible one now. And to complement him, his wife Saachi decided to not go to her work and be there at home so as to receive her husband in the evening. I must say so thoughtful of Saachi to put her hubby to the top of her priority. This is perfect showcase of work-life balance that we all working women go through. Yes work is important but family comes first. I was very happy to see that Saachi thought of staying home just for DV and in turn made him happy too. I loved all the open communication between them.
Let us talk about the scene at the breakfast table - DV never hides his love and pride for Saachi and he did the same at the dining table. He did not shy away from telling all that it is his wife who made him realize about his responsibilities. And his mom fully supported him. She is the only one in this gang of villains who will always support DV-Saachi.
I am not going to talk about the negativity of Anvay and Suparna.. not worth it. Infact their negativity will bring SaRuv more closer.
I also liked the overall chemistry between SaRuv. It was very visible today.
Regarding the precap, I think DV is playing a prank on Saachi. He is behaving this way to scare her but in the end he will burst into laughter... and Suparna will see this. Her plan will fail this time too. DV cannot scold or yell at Saachi... He can be upset but no yelling please.

I completely agree with you and fully concur especially on the parts marked in bold.

Fabulous post!👏 I felt the episode today was fantastic and wholly because of the reasons you so beautifully expressed 😊 it truly was a very close-to-reality episode discounting the Suparna scene

Thanks Chloe..you know you and Ben are simply wonderful people.. It is so hard for me to fathom that you both are not Indians but still behave more like Indians - be it language, show, food etc.. It is just wonderful. Always be like this.
Yes, the episode today was a very close-to-reality episode, brought forth the importance of communication and support between husband and wife. They are like 2 wheels of life - life cannot go with only 1 wheel. They both have to be in sync and moving in order to have a satified and fulfilling life.

Aww thank you 😊 That is so sweet of you! I have to be honest, Ben is the more Indian one, but I am getting there. We are going there in June and so I am learning the national language. If countries like India has so many citizens speaking English then why can countries like the UK not have locals speaking the mother tongue of India right?
Absolutely! Wonderful analogy with the wheels of life- it is very important to be in sync and keep the communication going as you say. I am getting into the show and really enjoying it! I understand Ben's madness over it now😃

Great post Anju...

Superb episode today... especially the scene you mentioned. Like I posted in Ben's topic.. it was dealt very realistically and with the sensitivity it required. Saachi understands DV.. and made him see reason superbly well. Also the fact that she did not bring up what YG said to her... I thought that was very nice.

YG's scene... I do agree with Saachi, that YG was not entirely wrong. He spoke like any father would do... especially a father who thinks and believes his son is immature and behaved irresponsibly.

Loved the breakfast scene... how DV did not react to Anway's taunts. Saachi's assurance and the way she nodded to keep calm, was very well done. Neena's support to Saachi & DV... 'behind every successful man, is a woman' - beautifully put across.

And yes... I loved the fact that Saachi decides to stay back and not go to Panchgani.

Ofcourse... DV & Saachi's romantic scenes - in the morning and before he leaves for work... too cute, like always!! 😳 "Yeh kya hai... yeh box ke upar se gaya" 🤣 🤣 I love the dialogues they give to DV!!

The husband-wife relationship is being projected in a beautiful way. Loving every bit of SaRuv, RM & SG... and JLZ! 😳
