Still some realistic feel to it.

After watching today's episode I thought of putting my views on the content too. Well as per me the show was still much in sync with its simple and realistic approach. There are some melodramatic OTT elements making it cliche, otherwise the show is still not 100% down the drain.
  • Firstly the character of Isha looked very practical and understanding. She was like any elder sister. She continuously was observing Saachi and her actions. She also observed well her mother as well as brother doting on her. It's very natural for the existing family member to be trying to decipher everything about the new member.
  • DV's mother is quiet a caring and sensible person. She has the requisite calm and poise required in her character. She lends depth to DV as a person.
  • YG also acted well within subtle limits. His anger towards Saachi through expressions was very effective. Instead of using harsh language on a daughter in law, he maintained a dignified silence. His intention of separating SaRuv is to some extent understandable also as their marriage is a defeat to him.
  • Anky was also acting calm and wasn't behaving any vamp. She showed her discomfort also seeing SaRuv together as well as showed her acceptance to their relationship. This is how precisely such person would behave in real life too. How newer shades will be revealed will be a future story but atleast today she was realistically behaving.
  • Saachi showed the right blend of hesitation to fit in the family and enthusiasm to accept and be accepted by the family. She was genuinely feeling guilty of not being able to make it on time and causing insult to her new family. This mix of fear and consciousness is what a new bride goes through and what keeps her going is her husbands support which was immensely visible in DV.
  • Today DV's character was also of a strong husband who despite seeing his wife entering in the party in total mess did not hesitate to comfort and hug her. He did not keep standing as a spectator while his wife was being insulted. He also tried to make up for the lack of love she gets from her family with his love.
  • DV's uncaring attitude towards Saachi's concerns of being accepted was wrong yet realistically shown. Husbands usually do not care much about it as it's difficult to understand what goes in the mind of an outsider when dealing with his family. This is a common problem so I felt DV was being too unbothered, he was just acting a part of a husband.

Yaar Vinnee, I totally agree with u, the story has not yet gone into drains fully, there is still a chance of reviving it to its original JLZ, Even I liked today's episode not at its best, but definitely far better than these days crap, hope we get to see much sensible epis in the near future😃

Nice points Vinee... All true.
On a lighter note I also noticed DV said Aap bohot KHUBSOORAT lag rahi hain instead of the usual SUNDER adjective he uses 😊
Also wondered that Saachi would have gone to her room to change but she did not see any Valentine's prep. 😉
