my dear ifs and buts...😊

i have been thinking about this post since quite sometime...

how can a mere piece of paper( birth certificate) decide whether two individuals are compatible mentally or in any other way or not...

...this , i fail to understand... in case of Saaruv... it is dv who has always displayed a mature trait while saachi has been very impulsive ... garam khoon...

every time saachi got angry, though for valid reasons... it was dv who saved their relationship without any ego... normally age teaches us to give up ego and calms us down...that's why they say that as people age they understand relationships on a different plane...

but here saachi had to grow up overnight... she did not mature especially when it came to handling an adult kind of a relationship.. a relationship of love and partnership... she simply did not understand...

Again , if age gap is wrong then how does a 20 year old girl lead a happily married life with a 30 year old man... if an older guy - younger lady is ok , then why not vice versa...

Also... when we opine on Saaruv.. we have to take saachi and dv's situations only.. and not our normal house holds... saachi has to be evaluated based on her life and dv from the perspective of his dysfunctional family...

...only then i would say that we have compared an apple to an apple other wise it would amount to comparing an apple to an orange ..and this would always seem wrong...

saachi is older to dv on paper only... in all other aspects.. dv is older to her...wat say...

there was a time in our society when women were not given education and were confined to the 4 walls...but this thinking changed..and today we have reservation for women to make them more able and rub shoulders with men... same way ...down the line many younger guys will opt for older women ... at that time this thought of age becoming a big issue will be considered retrograde and will become the norm... this serial is and will always be hatke...

Veena, I loved your post. Exactly I feel the same. DV has always seemed more matured than Saanchi who was very impulsive and hasty decision maker. Even I feel why age gap is given such an importance? Atleast Saanchi should not feel this to DV, leave the remaining society. I also wondered why Saanchi doesn't accept DV as a matured man rather than treating him as a mere bacchha.
