any forum was is who got married post 30 and had to face criticism?

Since our heroine sachi is in her post 30 age , we understand she had to face many criticism from society? Does any of our forum friends have similar experience in real life?

Let me be the first to do the honours for this post. I personally had to face this problem. Neither was I able to find a right partner nor my parents at that time. Some how good friends and parents had been very supportive. But when you see your parents under such tremendous pressure at times I had wished o god just get me married n make them relieved. But those thoughts are just momentary. I was fortunate to find a life partner later on and got married at 31, though most of them felt I was too old.

Wanted to increase our forum activity and this thought came to me.

No personal experience but I saw my Maasi going through this...she was very beautiful and did not get married at the mid twenties on her own will but after that rishtas reduced and none was good...when she vpcrossed 30 rishtas almost stopped...she later got really frustrated as everyone would ask my naani naana when will they marry her off...

But unfortunately she didn't get a good partner and when she got married it was with a much elder looking guy while my Maasi was very beautiful.

Dis is what I hate about our hypocritic society...buddha 60 pe bhi shaadi kare to sau khoon maaf...ladki 30 k baad kare to puri ganga ashuddh!! 😡

I understand completely. I used to get such bad proposals of elderly or less qualified just because I was in my later twenties. Going to any function was a nightmare. Whenever my dad used to reject proposals saying age diff is too much, our relatives used to ask him whom do you think your daughter wud get married to ? A prince or what? Better agree to the ones at hand. But my parents stood by me. I am indebted to them. When I found my spouse who was just a year elder to me, most of my relatives couldn't believe..

Very true sudip...unless we are strong it becomes difficult to face such situations. The more our society is educated unfortunately the more narrow minded one is becoming.
