Watching the episode will give you a better perspective, Anju...Saachi's insecurity is very much understandable...however I still will maintain that the Tuesday episode went overboard in showing her insecurity...since then however, they've done a better job of showing her fears and doubts...

As for DV...I feel it's a storyline contrivance...they keep showing him getting sidetracked...similar things were happening during the time these two wanted to tell Aaji-Naani...so I don't think DV is to blame...how can his seriousness and commitment towards this relationship be questioned given the way he took Aaji-Naani head on and finally managed to convince them? Saachi and everyone else shouldn't forget that either...

Good to see you here Anu. I agree with you somewhat but not fully. I will surely watch the episode (how can I not? This is my daily dose of entertainment and my ME time). Yes, Tuesday episode was OTT in regards to Saachi's insecurity and taunts and behavior. But CVs managed it very well yesterday. And reading about precap I see that Saachi is being more vocal and upfront with her fears. Trust me it is not easy to accept your fears but if she is doing it then it is awesome. She has to conquer her fears and run towards them. But in her case, it is DV who has to run too as it is question about his family now.
The way DV handled Aaji-Nani was commendable but now it is high time he handles his family. He knows what his mom wants so the sooner the better. He needs to act, Anki is also here now so atleast tell her. Thinking that what if Anki will tell his mom about it... that is not right. If parents are on tour then how will Anki tell them if you cannot? He needs to straighten up his act and fast.
Saachi was fine till the time she met his mom. If his mom would not have said anything about Anki, she would have been OK. It is that talk that has disturbed her to the core and her fears have come to forefront.
Trust me Anu, any girl in Saachi's place will be like this only - telling you from my experience of life.

Love and relationships are so complicated, and am sure everyone who is ever been in love or in a relationship knows that, so just imagine how much more difficult it would be for a girl like Saachi to be in love and that too with a guy who is younger then her, so I wouldn't say her behavior is justified, but I can say her behavior is justified for a girl like her, who for the past 15 years had absolutely no life of her own, she literally lived for her family and work, who never had any friends, except for Dils, let alone male friends, so when DV came into her life, she at first couldn't even think that they could ever be in a relationship, but now that they are, she is just as scared to loose him, so her insecurity instead of lessening with time, it keeps on increasing, especially with Ankita in the picture now, and Saachi knows that Ankita is DV's mom choice. Any girl in her shoes would react in this manner, and this is Saachi we are talking about, who is still very naive in the way of worlds, like Aaji mentioned in previous episode.

I wouldn't say that DV not telling his parents is wrong, because he should have tried harder, but he also needs to realize that if Saachi is giving up so easily on their love and relationship when she keeps saying how Anikta is his mom's choice, its because he means so much more to her then he can ever imagine. Its just that he gets to express both verbally and physically how much he loves her, whereas Saachi is still very shy and hesitant about expressing her feelings till now, but am really happy that he finally manged to make DV understand that reason for her feeling insecure and irrational.

@Anju: But I'm agreeing that Saachi's insecurity is justified, am I not? I understand her fears completely...don't know if you read the discussion in my thread but that is what we said there too.

And I agree that ideally DV should make this priority#1 seeing the tension regarding it...but as I said, this is a STORYLINE contrivance...easy tools to throw in drama...otherwise technically in JLZ timeline, the party was only LAST NIGHT...it hasn't even been a full day since the party yet...so yes DV should tell his parents ASAP...but maybe he doesn't want to tell them over the phone...anyways I've accepted this as a storyline drag tactic so I'm not analyzing it much *shrugs*

I guess Anu you are right..storyline drag..Think what will happen when the show becomes 5 days a week. Maybe they will focus on more of side-tracks and develop those rather than showing love story..

Oh my.. Look who is here, Navz 🤗
So good to see you. I agree with you that this reaction is justified in case of a girl like Saachi.
Loved what you have written in BOLD. Yes DV is outgoing, verbal, open, frank and he expresses openly. Not the case with Saachi...YES, I want him to tell his parents ASAP now... So many times Aaji-Nani have asked him. Yes, I loved the precap.

🤗 Its always a pleasure to reply to your topics, because as usual we are thinking along the same lines !!

I agree DV needs to tell his parents asap, not just because of Saachi being insecure, even though it should be reason enough, but here its not just about him and Saachi anymore ! He knows that his mom has chosen Ankita for him, and also that Ankita has feelings for him, so its imperative that he makes his choice clear in front of his family and Ankita so that there is no doubt left as to whom he wants to marry.

If any guy close to saachi even dv feels the same uncomfort saachi feeling irrespective of cultures n lifestyles when two ppl r in a relationship. Ya saachi fears of losing dv as she said clearly for her first priority is dv parents not ankita as she knew dv loves her n asking did he said to his parents n want to secure their relationship as anything can happen later as already saachi n dv knew tat dv mom is thinking of ankita as prospective bride for dv.wat stopping dv to discuss abt their mrg with his family don't know n also he told dils abt his love n uf anki n he r so close frds y he didn't told her abt his love for saachi.seems dv also fearing losing saachi if anything goes wrong.both r justified in their places but all clear saachi side n her family so to take this relationship fwd it's high time for dv to take fwd step n talk to his family abt dv-saachi love n mrg n tats wat saachi asked dv.
