You are My girl
Saanchi wake up early in that morning. Actually she didn't sleep previous night. How could she? She called DV last night and asked to come to park to discuss about their relationship. She wanted to make it clear that she is only friend of DV and nothing more. The whole night she tried to convince herself the same.
While she entered living room, there was Aaji. She asked Sanchi to make Coffee. Sanchi so immersed in thoughts that she end up making tea instead of coffee. But she didn't realize that. She gave tea to Aaji. She looked at Sanchi while drinking tea. But by that time Sanchi reached cooking range again. Aaji asked herself "What happened to this girl?"
Then Sanchi started to make breakfast. First flour tin slipped from her hand and it scattered in the floor. Then while making dough, the water amount increased and she throw it in the dust bin. The paneer in the kadai burned and while taking kadai from gas stove she burned her hand. In short she messed up whole kitchen. Aaaji was observing her. She slowly come near Sanchi and asked her to go and take rest. Initially Sanchi resisted, but Aaji made her to go.
When she managed to enter in her room, she sat on her bed. She asked herself that what happened to her. She could see her fingers are shivering. She sat there for long. Finally clock rang to indicate it was 8 am then. Sanchi trembled a bit and looked at the clock. She stood up. She promised DV that she will meet him at 10am. She hurried to bathroom.
After bath Sanchi opened cupboard. She took Pink salwar suit first. Then she remembered how DV said pink will suit for her. "No.. I won't wear this. If I wear this, he will assume because of him I wear this.. No.. I won't " Sanchi tried another dress. She didn't satisfy with anything. Finally she took same pink salwar suit. While touching hair, she remembered about DV suggested hair style. She tried many hair styles and finally ended up choosing the one DV suggested to her.
She stood in front of mirror and said, "I wore this Salwar because this is my favorite. I choose this hair style because I like it.." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then she looked at watch. It is 9 am only. "It takes only 10 minutes to reach there. If I reach there now and DV saw me, he will think I am eager to meet him." she sat on the bed. Then checked watch 9:03. Then stood up and walked towards window. She stood near window. Again she checked watch. 9:07. Then she decided to check whether DV is in Dils home or not. She peeps through the door. She couldn't find DV. She became sad. But suddenly she changed her mood. "Hmm... I don't care..." She continued above actions till 9:30. Now she can't wait more. She decided to go.
She reached living room. There was Aaji, Naani and Addu. But Sanchi didn't see anyone because she was in a hurry. Bu Adu called her. She stopped and regained her consciousness. She looked at Adu. "Where are you going?" Sanchi terrified a bit. "Why he ask so? If he..." But she managed to reply. ""O..O.. Office... Why?" "Nothing.. Casually asked.. You are looking like you are going for a date.." Sanch's head started to spin...She will fall at any time now. Addu laughed at her.. "Aaji.. Naani... Look at her face..." He touched her. "Di.. I was kidding..." She relieved and turned to go. Then Addu called her again. She looked at him "You are looking beautiful today.." One smile cornered at her lips.
She entered the Jeep. She starts thinking about meeting. She became panic again. She started to shiver. Keys slipped from her hand and fall on the ground. She tried to start the jeep. In spite of many attempt she couldn't start the jeep. Finally she understood, at this stage she couldn't drive. She managed to take taxi.
When she entered the park she saw DV who was talking to his mom. DV reached there at 8:30 itself. Initially he didn't see her. After a while she looked towards park entrance he saw Sanchi. He forgets that he was talking to his mom. He turned off the call without informing his mom. He stood up. He drooled at her.
Sanchi slowly walked towards Sanchi. She held her bag tightly. When she reached near DV, she said "hhh.. Hello..." Dv was still in his dream land and he didn't land on earth to hear her "hhh..Hello.." Sanchi cleared her throat and said again "Hello... D..V.." But this time a bit louder. DV woke up from his dreamland like someone hit his head. "Hello..."
He looked around and said "Please sit..." Then he sat on the bench. She didn't move a bit. He point towards bench and said again. "Sit here..." Sanchi stood there like a statue. DV closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he leaned towards her and took her right hand and forced to sit her near him. Terrified Sanchi forcefully withdraw her hand from his and moved away from him. She sat the other end of bench. DV looked at Sanchi and opened his mouth to say something. But finally he stopped himself from that.
Both sat there for long without saying anything. Finally DV broke the silence. He looked at Sanchi and said, "We are here to discuss something.." Sanchi took a deep breath and closed her eyes in order to gain some strength.
"DV... You are younger than me.." DV smiled.. "Of course I am... Nothing new in that..." He paused a second" Wait... Do you want my birth certificate in order to prove that?" DV stared at Sanchi and started laughing. Sanchi became furious. "DV.. I am serious.." DV controlled his laugh.. "Ok.." "DV.. I am mature enough to.." DV interrupted her.. "No...You are not.. You don't know what you want?.. you don't know you are in love.. Then how could you are mature?" Sanchi stopped him... "DV let me complete..." Dv stared at her... "I know this is friendship.. Nothing more.. I am mature enough to know that... What I have done at hospital is due to humanity..."
DV became angry now. He hit at bench and shouts. "Enough is enough.." He stood up and walked towards her. He stood in front of her. Sanchi moved back a bit after seeing his angry face.
Dv started pouring questions at Sanchi.. "During Karwachouth you enjoyed every bit of my company.. You became happy while seeing me through your Duppatta and you enjoyed the way I feed you. And finally you shout at me so that I didn't know your feeling, right?" Sanchi keeps mum.."That night you allowed me to stay with u in the office.. Is that due to friendship? " Sanchi said "Yes.." .."No..You are not... Initially you asked me to go... You feared that if I stay there you will fall for me... If you truly want me to go you didn't allow me to stay there till morning... Am I correct?" Sanchi has nothing to say... "While I am sick you stayed away in order to pretend you don't care about, but keep checking every minute about me... And finally stay awake whole night in order to nurse me... Is that only due to friendship?..."
Sanchi has no words to say now.. She stood up and walk away from DV. "Sanchi... Come here.." DV shouted... But she kept walking. DV again shouted.. " Sanchi... I said come here..." Sanchi stopped. But she didn't turn towards him. Dv closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he walked towards her and stood in front of her... "This is what I don't like.. You are running away from truth... how long you hide the truth..." He placed his hand at her shoulder and said" Sanchi.. you are loving me.. " He looked at her eyes. "Do you understand what I said?" She stared at him and walked away from him.
Finally she reached outside the park. She stopped one taxi and get into it. Before she can do anything DV too stormed into the taxi. He closed the door and held Sanchi's hand. He told driver where they want to go. He didn't leave her throughout the journey. Sanchi tried many times. But finally she stopped her efforts.
When they reached near home DV stopped car and get down from the car. He still is holding Sanchi's hand. She looked at her sadly.. he withdraw her hand. Sanchi turned around and walked towards home. DV called her "Sanchi.." She didn't stop.. DV stood there till she entered into the home. "You are my girl... One day you gonna accept that.."
