I really liked Dhruv's reply to Sanchi's "Karvachauth ka matlab samjhte ho tum ? Jante bhi ho ke yeh vrath sirf eik pati hi khulwa sakta hai ?"
Dhruv : "Jaanta hoon ... issi liye toh aapka vrat maine apne haathon se khulwaya hai" (that he isn't playing around and is going to stick around to take up the role of her Husband when the time calls for it)
Sanchi is apprehensive of Dhruv's playful disposition & impish flirting, that his apparent infatuation with her might just be that , an infatuation , a passing crush of an immature man-boy, which will with time be replaced with his fascination with yet another new object of admiration. And if she is to reciprocate to it at some point in the future she'd only be making a fool of herself (although I doubt she's anywhere near reciprocating đ. Even in her HEAD its absurd. At least at this point). However with his reply , Dhruv not only dispelled her notions that the rites & rituals of Karvachauth hold little meaning for him, but also subtly let her know that he isn't messing around , that his liking for her is nothing short of absolute unwavering love & respect and that when the time comes he IS man enough to step up to it and marry her. The guy takes her seriously and is telling her so .
