Did you or did you not take offense about the comment about the ears thingy? She was not compared to a dog, but then again, each to their own. What might be termed as not offensive for me, may be not the case for everyone. I don't understand why past issues are being brought to light again and again, if those members felt that Panchi was compared to a dog, why didnt they report the matter to the moderator.

^^opti so it is better to PM the mods of the forum or viewbies instead of creating seperate topics to criticize members which may lead to fight.we have always informed the authoritie wenever shabir has been bashed,as it is the right way & also said in IF rules

Janki, a development team member takes law into her own hands and posts warnings to other members in the Jay's questions thread. Why is she doing that? Why not report the matter to the mods?

I recollect posts opened in the past explicitly to criticise the posts of other members. These members do not comment in the so called 'offensive' posts but do so by opening separate ones. Rima in this case opened this thread only because she did not want to confront the member in Jay's questions thread and create a scene there for him to read.

Yasmin, it is realy pointless arguing here. People would continue to believe what they want to believe. I may have fallen in the eyes of some - people who claimed to love me, people who claimed to have been inspired by my posts. But then again, I cannot please everyone every time. My views need not always be acceptable to everyone and I am not foolish enough to believe that they should accept it. As long as my conscience is clear, which it is, I needn't bother with anything else. And as far as I am concerned many of these members are so much younger to me, maybe nearly half my age. So I do not want to get into a fight with them. Let them say what they want and interpret me as they choose.

yes,if some members feel certain some posts are offensive, better report it to mods ,be he/she a shachian, michian or np fan.if some members commit mistakes, other shud nt follow suit instead avoid doing it themselves

Oh yeah, any body can take offense to anything. Or is it the prerogative of a few alone? People who are so sensitive to my innocous post should not be making snide comments linking up Jay and Shabbo and that too posing that question to Jay himself even as a joke. People in glass houses should not throw stones at others. Just because the development team member does not take the name, her sarcastic comments do not go unnoticed. For a person who claims to be frank, why not come out openly and accuse instead of making such veiled references to my posts?

ur joke was the most down market joke tht i hv ever heard ,& who says my comments r un-noticed???

it seems ur sooooooooooooo fond of finding faults at others but never accepts ur own faults & due to tht many shabbir-panchi r hurt , becaz of such preachy ppl many members hv left the forum !!!!

Minu, the sensible would have been to pm Opti directly rather than make create a issue over it in the forum. If you had pmed opti explaining you took offense at her comment, there was a possibilty that the matter could have been sorted out privately which would have been more sensible than pointing fingers in the open forum. Comments made by Sita on Opti are totally uncalled for, reading such attacks make me feel really uncomfortable, so imagine how Opti feels, this is totally unacceptable, making digs and attacks on members over an issue that could have been talked over through pm. This is why I don't like coming on the forum anymore, because of people's level of intolerance, this forum used to be the most friendliest, but now the digs, sniggering, indirect comments make me uncomfortable, and what feels worst is that this happening between people who I think of as friends in the forum.

As for the doggy comment, that comment was completely taken out of context and blown out of proportion, Panchi was not called a dog, nor was she compared to one, go back and read that comment. Let me ask you a question Minu, If you feel strongly that a actor is being bashed, why not report to the moderator? why make snide comments and indirect digs at other member's expense in the open forum like this?

@Rima: I feel it would been better if you had pm the moderator of Kayamath forum. They can look into the issue directly. 😊 Rest assured they will look into the matter.

i really wonder how ppl cud think such foolish stuff abt a cute shabbir-panchi scene ,the reality is many -many ppl r hurt by such down market doggy joke !!
