A new journalist was sent to Kayamath sets to report how actors prepare themselves for the emotional melodrama shot at a bungalow named Shah Mansion. Here is the column the journalist wrote the next day.

Let's start with the elders…. The actors playing Mishraji, PL, Daadi, Maamaji etc.
Everyday they dress up in the same style. They always flock together as they know there is a dialogue by M, P, N or A and they have to give the same expression of shock/fear and there is the "thadum thadum" background music to back them up.

Sukruti/Vinesha: She is busy adjusting a pillow under her dress these days. She is really used to get pregnant and create problems for everyone unknowingly. On the sets, she just keeps going in the middle of other scenes and says something.. sometimes really stupid and sometimes super-intelligent.

Aalaap/Bharat: Tallest guy in the unit. You often find him giving expressions of being hit badly by someone. He often keeps his hand on his cheeks and tries to count how many teeth came out. He said once in a week he gets by the character Milind, so he wants to be a pioneer in the act of being hit.

Ayesha/Sanjeeda: This girl is high on spirits all the time. She enjoys herself the best on the sets. She doesn't need to look at the script at all as she knows her dialogues by heart (there are a few dialogues for her but said umpteen times). She can often be heard saying either "Mera Milind" or "Prachi Shah" when she takes a nap in between shots. She confessed the reason for her happiness and her spirits – It seems Aamir (her long time boyfriend) has been really good to her these days. Ever since he has been watching kayamath, he has got so scared of her that he never says NO to her for anything. He is scared as he has seen Sanjeeda behaving like Ayesha and he knows if he says NO to anything she can destroy not just him but the whole family. And what else a girl wants than a man that entertains everything she asks for.

Neev/Jay: This guy gives a smirk all the time. Whether in front of the camera or away from it that smirk wouldn't leave him. He tells us whether he is working against Ayesha to help Prachi or trying to kill Milind against Prachi the smirk doesn't change. However, in personal life he is not too happy. It seems this weird smile that he has been putting up with has taken a toll in his personal life. As a new comer he got too much into Neev's character and started 'smirk' ing with all his friends and relatives. This lead to a lot of misunderstandings and he lost a lot of his friends (girlfriends too). Hence he has decided to quit the show and let this character Neev die. That's the only solution he has out of his smirk.

Milind/Shabbir: Being a gifted and successful actor and also a bollywood star now this guy is all smiles always. He is a very dedicated actor. He comes to the set in time and ties a cloth around his hand or puts a bandage on his head before the director says (he knows he is injured all the time). He dresses himself up the way he wants (any kurta, kohlapuri chappal, torn jeans or whatever). Everyone knows his hot quotient and his female following and it hardly matters what he wears and (not wear). He has a very cool attitude towards life and Kayamath. He said he doesn't really know what's happening in the serial so he takes one day at a time. He adjusts himself to the mood of the episode in a smart way. If he needs to be angry he thinks of his angry army man dad, if he needs to be sad he just looks at Prachi/Panchi with tears and delivers his dialogues. And once in a while he gets to do some romance which he does in his own style (he did admit his hard work he puts into such scenes). And the past few months he needed to have a confused look. For that he tried to understand Kayamath story (say any track) and that was enough to confuse him.

Prachi/Panchi: For the main protagonist it's standard expressions. 90% of the times she has tears in her eyes. So Panchi heavily depends on the glycerine to bring about her character into life. She uses 90% of the glycerine stocks. When glycerine stocks are finished by the end of the day, she is so much used to crying that tears fall from her eyes on their own. Only- once in a while she gets to use a lot of blusher to make herself blush or smile. But that's is only 1% of her total time. The rest 9%, she has to have this question mark on her face as she is always trying to figure out solution to every problem, every mystery faced by every character in the serial. For this she draws her inspiration from Sherlock Holmes readings and BOND movies.

Beta Hua Booda, Baap Hua Jawaan

One of the unit members from Kayamath tells us that Milind's father, Baba, is feeling extremely left out due to the umpteen weddings on the set. He is constantly whining about getting the step fatherly treatment because he hasn't been offered another bride since his wife's death. Sick and tired of his complaints, the producers finally got him a young nurse wearing candy-colored outfits and a plastic smile that shows all her 40 utterly-butterly white teeth. Although Baba seemed satisfied for a little bit after that, it now seems like putting his arms around her is not enough…much worse, even the nurse is said to be getting tired of his old hands on her shoulders, and is busy eyeing a new entrant on the show…a Ranvir something! Not to be left out of the competition, Baba has finally put his foot down to get married to Ms.Bubblegum, else he has threatened to quit the show *not that it makes any difference whether he is there or not, but kicking him out would mean one less wooden furniture in the house :P*

Chalo Producers saab, inki bhi tamanna poori kar do. Waise bhi aapke serial me HAR ROZ ek na ek shaadi hoti rehti hai….

Meanwhile, apna MIlind is sick and tired of the word 'marriage', so much so that he refused to smile while shooting the actual wedding sequence with Prachi, and instead preferred to look like a lamb that's about to be slaughtered (Or, more realistically, like a man who wants to slaughter every woman in his life!). Hey Bhagwan, I guess he lost his libido, along with his brain and guts, after his fall!!!!!!! Or perhaps his libido got transferred to Babaji, while lying in a coma on the hospital bed!

So don't be surprised if you find an eight-yr old Baba experiencing 10 more years of marital bliss and at least 2 more children, while his thirty yr old son continues to revolve around various courts trying to get one divorce after another!!! Lagta hai is Kayamat me kayamat jaldi hi aa jaayegi! Remember, you heard it first here!!
