These days it is getting tough to drool over Shabbo in privacy although the guy is getting yummier by the day. My hubby or my son is always circling around me, keeping tabs on what I am up to with my laptop.

The minute my hubby sees Shabbo's picture on my screen he says "So you've started your daily ritual, drooling over that bear?" Once I manage to shrug him off, my 10-year old walks up and peeps at what I am doing. Then he starts his tirade of questions.

"Why do you have Shabbir's picture as a background on your PC?"

"Is he your favourite?"

"Why does he not cut his hair?"

"Why does he look like a poor man?"

"Will he never shave?"

"Why is his name Shabbir? Is he a Muslim?"

The latest is "Who is Shabbo? Is he Shabbir's brother?" This after he saw the title of my latest post.

The funniest reaction was when I was watching Sangeeta (Queenkumar's) caps of yesterday's episode, the boy had a cursory look at the pictures and summed it up "One guy is loving her and then another guy is loving her and then she is crying. Now, that is a good story,no mummy?" He found it so funny that he could not stop laughing. Before he left he muttered "Is she not ashamed of hugging two men?"

I tell you, drooling over Shabbo away from prying eyes and mocking comments is becoming a herculean task!!!

haha! I can't stop laughing. Your son is right on the money. I am not 10, but I was surprised at the ease of the hug(s) transpiring from one man to the next. I was thinking, is this some jaadoo ki jhappi?
Little opti's questions are really tough to answer. I can't find a good answer to a single one of them...beleive me, I was trying to compose something in jest, and I tried for 15 minutes.

I give up. My advice, stop surfing at home. I've done just that.

Also Opti, I wanted to thank you for taking my word and not putting in emoticons, at least that's the reason I think is for the wordy (and wonderful) posts. I absolutely didn't mean to point anything out. You are lovely and you know it. I think there are't too many takers though. Sorry, but for whatever it counts, I LOVE the posts.

So your husband calls him 'bear'. Mine calls him 'beast' and that's how we refer to him now as Shabbir's name makes no impact on him!
He roles his eyes everytime he appears...he can't understand what we women see in him...

He ought to read today's BT which carried a yummy pix of Milind....yeah, that name again...Suman with his long mane and beard....the title was 'Beard and Beautiful'....that tells u what the article was about...sadly, Shabbir wasn't mentioned....so I couldn't use the article as a justification and an explanation for our craze!
As for your little boy, what can I say except "Out of the mouth of babes!'
He hit the nail on the head.....like his mom does so often!!

SF, I can't stop surfing at home. That is the only place I can surf endlessly. At work I am mostly busy doing what I am supposed to do - work, although I do take a break now and then to post something. But drooling at work? Now that's a strict no, no because nobody knows my Shabbo fixation and I want to keep it that way. So I'll have to put up with my hubby's sniggers and my son's mocking for now.

About the emoticons. Yeah, I know you dont like them. But I did not stop posting them because of that. I am plain lazy to go hunting for them. Do be critical. Have no problems with that.

Pippa, my son didn't stop with that. When I burst out laughing at his remark, he asked me to send his joke to Laughter Challenge!

Laughter Challenge, lol!

When I see Siddhu, I feel like pulling my hair out....now, everytime I see that other megabore, Shatru, I feel like pulling my teeth out!!

Why do I watch this crap, Pippa? Now that is the million dollar question. Maybe to discuss it with my fellow insane Michians here!

Oh please dont watch LC Pippa if it drives you to pull out your hair and teeth. Your hubby I guess would prefer to have you drool over your beast than to see you sans hair and teeth!

Well my brothers have a constant battle with me on him. Especially my elder brother keeps calling him a sweeper we fight ... honestly I do to maintain Shabbo's dignity.. Though they mostly end up in me throwing him off the comp chair doesn't bug him at all. So it's a new ordeal each day...
