Again, this is meant in fun guys, please dont take offense. I dont play dirty.
Madhu was at work. She sat at her desk desperately trying to call Chituku. The phone would not connect though and with a heavy heart, she resolved to try again after work.
She felt a sigh of relief flood her when Chituku did pick up and a smile was bought to Chituku's face, just reading Madhu's name on the caller ID.
"Kya kar rahin ho? Main kab se phone kar rahin thi tumhe... (Where were you? I've been trying to call for ages now...)" Madhu said testily but Chituku did not mind, she was just content listening to Madhu's voice. She Apologised, as she had forgotten to charge her phone.
Chituku sat at her dresser excitedly awaiting Madhu's arrival. She had dressed in her finery today. But Madhu was taking unusually long. Little did Chituku know that Madhu was preparing for a surprise of her own.
The bell rang and Chituku rushed to the door, yanking it open she found Madhu waiting with a sheepish look in her face.
"Madhu...tumhare haath mein kya hai? (What's in your hands?)" Chituku asked suspiciously. Madhu struggled to contain the present in her hands and she bought it from behind her back and showed it to Chituku.
She held out two tiny kittens towards Chituku and smiled. Chituku was stunned and she was rendered speechless. She looked up with much love in her eyes and exclaimed delighted that they were beautiful.
Madhu gave one to Chituku but kept on for herself. "This one is called Chi, tumhare name ke C ke liye" she said pointing to the kitten she was holding and then pointing to the one Chituku was holding, "And this one is called Mi, mere name ke M ke liye..."
Chituku watch both kittens in awe, they were beautiful and kept trying to get back to one another. "Ek doosre mein kitna pyaar haina? They want to be together..." Chituku asked and Madhu replied, smoothing down the kitten's fur, "Bikul hamera jaise, in dono ke dil mil gaye hain... (They're just like us, their hearts have met)"
Chituku smiled and replied, "Michi...bauhat pyaara naam hai...aab hum, in dono ko alaag nahin hono denge...hamare saat saat, in dono ka pyaar bhi badega... (Michi...that's a lovely name......we'll never let these two part...now with us, their love will also prosper)"
They didn't know when love had burst upon them like the rains, but it had and it was beautiful.
