17th April Update
The familiy are in the main hall and the dadi and ayesha are congratulating NP.
Michi look at one another and the pain is visible on their faces. Neev goes to milsi and thanks him for uniting him and prachi. Milsi looks at P and runs off upstairs. Milsi is in his room and he tells himself that he got his answer and that prachi loves neev. He convinces himself that NP union is the best thing for them and the family and that he wont allow himself to think of P again.
NP are in Prachi's room and he is commending prachi on her acting. He goes towards her and realises that prachi is crying and he stops talking. He turns her around so that she is facing him and asks her why she is crying. The concern is visible on his face and he walks her to the bed and makes her sit down. He kneels down besides her and tells her that he knows she doesn't like the fake pretence but he tells her that there is no other way and that if they did not fake their engagement than they wouldn't have an answer for the family. He tells her that milsi wants to see them happy and its necessary to make ayesha think that they are engaged. He convinces her that the fake engagement is better than having a grand one which the family wanted. He tells her that he knows she loves milsi and that she wants to spend the rest of her life with milsi and that one day milsi will get his memory back and he will become hers. Then she will be with milsi and neev will find someone. Neev starts joking around and he reminisces on their college days and tells her to remember how popular he was among the girls. He remembers one hot girl named tina. Both NP smile and P apologies to neev. prachi says that in the next lifetime she wants to be him so that she will be able to smile through tough times. Neev jokes and prachi playfully hits neev on the arm and they go in for a hug but than stop abruptly. The sad chaha humne music is playing and NP are staring at one another. neev braks the awkwardness and tells her that there is no need to hug now but they may need to hug in front of the family to keep up the pretense. Prachi goes out of the room, neev stands up and wishes that the old times came back and that their relationship still existed and wishes that milsi had never come into P's life. Then he shrugs that off and says that nothing can be the same again.
Ayesha and sukriti bump into the corridor upstairs and Ayesha taunts sukriti about gaining her love. She flaunts prachi's defeat in gaining milsi's love and talks about NP engagement. Sukriti tells her not to dream too much because this dream of hers will not come true. She wonders why prachi took the step of getting engaged to neev. Suk praises prachi and says that prachi thinks of others before herself and that she is only engaged to Neev for milsi's sake. Ayesha walks off.
Milsi and prachi come face to face and walk to one another slowly. Prachi asks milsi why he walked away from the main hall earlier, and milsi replies that there was no reason. He shakes prachi's hand and congratulates her. He talks about how fortunate those people are who get their childhood love. Prachi asks whether he is talking about himself and ayesha, milsi says no and that he is talking about NP. He says he is very happy for her. Prachi thinks that I did this for my love and my love is you. They walk in opposite directions and stop, their souls turn around and walk to eachother. MP souls share a hug.
Everyone is at the dining table. Prachi goes to sit by milsi but mamaji asks her to sit by neev. Milsi looks upset. Prachi sits by neev and dadi passes halwa over to neev and neev starts eating it. Mamaji asks prachi to eat it too because on special occasions like engagements people should eat sweet dishes and feed one another sweet dishes and that this ensures that their married life is full of happiness. Mamaji than goes on to say how MA and NP should have a double wedding. Baba gets upset and leaves the dining table and suk covers up by saying that he has got emotional over the topic of milsi's marriage. Mamaji says that he will get emotions seeing as ayesha will become his daughter inlaw. Milsi looks disturbed, mamaji asks again what they think of his double wedding idea and milsi just leaves the dining table and goes upstairs. Ayesha is upset and follows him. Ayesh asks him why he left his dinner and he replies that he has some work to do. Ayesha says that mamaji's idea is good and that it would also be nice to see NP get married and she praises NP's love. Milsi gets agitated, says that he has a headache and walks off in a huff.
Prachi is sitting at the dining table and ayesha sits besides her. Prachi gets up and ayesha asks her where she s going. She orders prachi to layout her food and that although milsi has become her friend, she should not forget her status in the house. Prachi says that she knows very well what her responsibilities to the family are and that what ever she has suffered silenty is for milsi's happiness and well-being. She warns ayesha that she should stay within her limits. Ayesh seems to be finding all this amusing, she gets up and taunts prachi. Ayesha praises prachi's cleverness and says how she used this opportunity to get her childhood love back and that the engagement ring shows how much NP still love one another; prachi doesn't like what is being said and looks upset. Prachi tells ayesh ato think what she likes and that she is unaware of the truth, ayesha looks worried and asks prachi what the truth is, prachi walks off and leaves ayesha thinking.
