WWW announces NP engagement. Prachi looks pleadingly at Milsi. He looks confused. Pl tries to stop saying Prachi needs rest. Baba says it cannot be done since Milsi wanted it on an auspicious day. WWW shoots down these excuses saying that she had already cosulted the pandit about it and the day was good and they need to conduct the engagement as there are many evileyes which do not want the engagement. Milsi agrees. Dadi tells PL is is good for Prachi. Prachi runs up to her room and cries.
WWW tells Mamaji that she ha ensured Milsi is hers by the engagement. Mamaji applauds her and say he will help her. He then takes the ring to Prachi. Prachi in the meantime thinks she cannot allow the engagment since she is in her senses even if Milsi is not.
At the moment mamaji comes in and brainwashes her saying that she will do anything for Milsi's happiness which is in this engagment. He calls her SitaDevi who took Agni pariksha for her husband. He tells her that she would make every one happy including dadi and PL. Prachi is confused that even her mother will agree to this. He then tells that Neev is happy because he still loves her. She is even more surprised by this. He then shows her the ring and says that Milsi had sent that ring for her to approve for the NP engagement. She is silent.
Milsi is trying to help Ramu kaka with the arrangements. He is happy to make Prachi happy. He sees the gods idols and prays for her happiness. WWW comes there. He thanks her and asks why she did all this. she says that she does not want Prachi to be stuck with him in riots or snow storms. Milsi assures her he loves her alone. She says that she is only ensuring her place. He smiles. Mamaji comes there and pretends that he will help Neev to get ready. Milsi asks WWW to help Prachi but she refuses saying Prachi still hates her.
Mamaji goes up to Neev's room where Dadi is trying to brainwash him again but he refuses saying that till he knows Prachi's wishes he will not agree to this engagement. Mamaji enters and tells him that Prachi is agreeable and is happy. He shows him the enegagement ring and says that she asked him to see it. Neev believes him and is very happy. Mamaji is pleased to note that he managed to fool both of them like he used to do when they were kids.
Prachi gets ready with a heavy heart. WWW is very happy to see her and says she finally looks pretty because she is getting out of her life. Mamaji meets WWW and they are happy that their plan is working out.
Everyone is ready for the engagement. Prachi is coming down sadly, looking all the time at Milsi. Milsi keeps staring at her and recollects their scenes in Panchmeshwar and Pune. She trips on the stairs and Milsi rushes in and holds her. Neev comes there, looks sternly at him and takes her away. Milsi feels lost. The rings are being exchanged. Prachi's eyes never leave Milsi who is enraptured by her. Neev puts the ring on her finger and Prachi is about to put the ring on his when Milsi suddenly screams no. Every one stare shocked. Milsi looks at Prachi.
