Ekta Kapoor is normally a delight to interview as she makes great copy.
But at the launch of her new soap 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' it was a surprisingly very quiet and subdued Ekta. Here are excerpts from the interview:
Your shows including 'Kasturi' have not been doing well off late?
The reason for my certain shows not doing well as per the expectations is that they were aired on not so popular channels.
But all my shows airing on different channels have been the top shows.
Be it 'Kya Dill Mein Hai' on 9X or 'Kuchh Is Tara' on Sony. I can't create magic or shows that will shoot up to a TRP of 20. Even 'Karam Apna Apna' is the top show in the afternoon slot.

The queen bee of the television world, producer Ekta Kapoor [Images] is known to spot young talent.
The latest to join her endless list
(Prachi Desai, Naman Shah, Hiten Tejwani...) seems to be 19-year old Additi Gupta, the newcomer identified to play the lead role in Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil.
The show will replace the hugely popular Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Additi will be playing the role of Heer.
If you are wondering whether the additional 'd' in Additi is a typo or not, you are mistaken. Ekta, apparently, wanted to be doubly sure of the success of her choice and consulted noted numerologist Sanjay Jumaani who suggested Additi to add the extra 'd' to her name. This, Jumaani feels, will bring good luck to her and the show.
It's a number game, after all.

Ekta serials are halted and this also include kym?😳 why Prachi Deasi is getting on her top list but not Prachi Bora?😳
