Yeh I totally agree that a baby needs both in some way...but it doesn't necessarily have to be the birth mother or father...look at poor Ritwik...Prachi's doing a better job than Sukriti. Having a child is never a mistake...no matter who its with.

I think you're right...he shouldn't marry her, but yes he should take responsibility. Which he undoubtedly will....But it cant be held against him if he wasn't aware he even had a child. Plus if Ayesha's an unfit mother...there's no harm in Prachi looking after it.
