In the article titled " Debutants get ready to storm Bollywood" Shubash K Jha, a veteran Bollywood critic mentions Shabbir 's work in Shootout at Lokhandwaala.

These are his words:

"In his (Apoorva Lakhia's) 2007 hit, Shootout At Lokhandwala, tv actor Shabbir Ahluwalia matched strides with the biggies in the cast."

Maybe a one-liner, but the praise is worthy.

👏👏👏 Yipeeeeeeeee Shabbo's Talent & Hard Work has been recognized in a such a way which is very heart warming because he could have been easily shadowed by the Big Names in that movie... I think proved yet again along with talent, he does have screen presence that gets you notice him amidst so popular faces. All the Best, Shabbo for a great career in Movies👍🏼
Good to see Shabbo make it to the debutant list of the year... undoubtedly the year has seen some promising debuts👏
