In a house full of insane and irrational people, the only one to have retained her sanity and rationality, not to forget her compassion, is Prem Latha. Wonder how she ended up begetting good for nothing kids like Alaap and Prachi.

Here is a woman who has accepted her husband's daughter from an illegitimate relationship. Now this requires tremendous tolerance. One cant forget the way she took care of her in the hospital after her attempted suicide. Even when Ayesha is up to her worst antics, she has always spoken to her in a firm, yet reasonable, tone. I am afraid did'nt see much of her interactions with her before Milsi's re-entry but I am sure she has always treated her fairly.

Coming to her role as a mother. She has always been supported to her children but was quick to correct them when they were in the wrong. Take her reaction to Prachi when she lied about the baby. She did'nt hesitate to slap her in front of everybody. Yet, she also showed enough understanding and was compassionate with her even as she encourage her to tell the truth.

What about her role as a mother-in-law? Any guy would just love to have a mom-in-law like her. When she tried to get her daughter to tell the truth she told her that she was not only destroying her life but that of the one man for whom she means the world. Here she not only spoke for her daughter's life but also for her son-in-law's well being. In yesterday's episode she even slapped Neev (whom she treated as her own son) for framing Milsi. Her concern for Milsi is not limited to him alone about also extends to his sister. Remember her telling Dadi that she was worried about what Niharika would do to Milsi and Suki if there was indeed something in Suki's past as claimed by Alaap.

Her compassion of her foster son (Neev) was there to see both in the episode where Ayesha attempts suicide where she told him she has failed to see his sorrow because she was absorbed in her daughter's life and again yesterday when Neev was lamenting that he was tossed around by Milsi, Prachi and Ayesha. While she empathised with him she also warned him not to do anything which he may regret later. Even here her concern was for his well being since she knew Neev was not a bad person and would definitely repent his character degenaration.

All in all PL has shown what it is to be a strong yet compassionate woman. hope Prachi learns these traits from her mother instead of being the stupid sacrificing queen she is.

I agree, the only rational, reasonable and composed person in the house is Prem Latha mom, I esp admire her most for the way she had dealt with with the pain in the a** Ayesha, she has always been firm with her yet we can see the concern in her eyes for Ayesha.

I really wonder from where Prachi got this trait of being a sacrificing queen 😕

Must say that Prachi Shah (the original one who plays PL not the fictitious one who is at present driving me nuts) is one hell of an actress. Love her controlled mature acting, suits the part of PL to the tee.

Although I admire PL yesterday I was a little disappointed in her. When she knew Prachi was heading towards meeting Neev why did she not stop her? If that head strong girl of hers did not listen to her, she should have just locked her up. After all this girl creates more mess by trying to do things herself. If Milsi had not seen NP together but only Neev he would not have reacted so hot-headedly and perhaps that could have avoided what is to come by way of pay-back by Neev.

Who am I kidding. They will have to pave the way for Milsi's (Shabbo's) exit. So all options need to be closed is'nt it, including a forceful PL stopping a dimwit Prachi.

PL let me down again yesterday. I would have expected her to insist that Prachi should not prolong the agony by holding her tongue; instead she tells her to take up the juice to Milsi. I know she already has, but would'nt hurt to say that more forcefully again especially after what had been happening as a result of it.

She should have also stood up to Ayesha when she snatched the juice glass from her instead of silently watching her disappear with the glass. After all she had prepared it. How can that good-for-nothing character go off with it? If she had wanted to give juice to Milsi she should have prepared it herself, not snatch what has been prepared by others.

But the worse is still to come. I thought she was a sensitive person. Now does she not realise that it is in the last puja that Prachi took the blame of being the mother of Ritwik and literally broke her husband's heart? All the misunderstanding which have persisted and grown since then stem from that one foolish act by Prachi.

One does associate things with major events in one's life. Milsi is sure to be reminded of the supposed betrayal and feel it more strongly if a similar setting (in the form of a puja) is provided because it is in one such puja this betrayal took place. Why then did she bring back such memories by organising the puja? God can only help those who help themselves. If Prachi does not reveal the truth how can a puja help in bringing the couple back together? She does not have control over her daughter whom she has raised for so many years. So how can she expect that a son-in-law (whom she knows for less than a year) will oblige her (that too under the present circumstances when his relationship with his wife is strained?)

Must say that Milsi was kind enough to oblige to sit for the puja in the begining. But the memories of the betrayal were far too much for him to put up a farce.

So in my opinion, no brownie points for PL in yesterday's episode. If anything she has gained, by organising the puja which resulted in Milsi ultimately breaking it she has indirectly contributed to the harm that is coming his way.

Opti dalring....

A wonderful post as always....and yes agreew th you ...till now...(with the exception of the last two episodes) PL is truly shown as remarkable mother, step-mother, mother-in-law, wife and bahu.....

She truly was the only sane one around and smart too...but then the creatives...I think hated to show her more smarter and intelligent then her duffer kids...so...the last to episodes were to blance out those characteristic....

Hope...we do get PL slapping Prachi tight once more....as she sure does need it...

Ohh!!!! and yes Prachi Shah, whose playing PL truly is a wonderful actress....👏

Love

Krishna
