Aquaphobic Sanjeeda jumps into water for Kayamath
Sanjeeda Sheikh, who plays Ayesha in Kayamath, is extremely scared of water and does not even know how to swim. Surprising then that for a scene in Kayamath last week she jumped into a lake.
"I am scared of water," admits Sanjeeda, "Everyone has some phobia or the other. I cannot go deep into the water. I do not know swimming as well. But it was the requirement of the scene so I did it. Ekta, who goes through every shot personally, liked it as well."
Explaining the scene, Sanjeeda says, "In the serial Milind ditches me and, in frustration, I try to commit suicide. After jumping into the water I had to stop breathing for five seconds during the actual filming. They advised me to use a dummy but I told them that if you want my close–up it won't work."
Sanjeeda is playing negative role in Kayamath. She is jealous of her ex-lover Milind, who is married to her step sister Prachi. Ayesha sees them together in their bedroom and is hurt by it. She is now planning to prove that the child in their house is of Prachi and Neev before her marriage.
