The creatives are busy building up evidences to ensure Milsi has no choice but to believe that Prachi mothered a child out of wedlock. Now how strong is his faith in Prachi?
If you recollect his behaviour in the past, he has not always gone by evidence. Take suki-alaap matter. Did he not blindly believe everything Suki told him about how Alaap duped her? Where was the evidence there? It was her word against Alaap's. In fact all the evidence went against her. When she staged that show in the hotel to trap Alaap, he went one up over her and put his friend there. That only served to ruin her reputation in the eyes of the world. Even her own father did not believe her. But he did, practivally blindly. Coming to the elopement incident, he found fault only with Prachi. He did not even raise his voice against Suki. He could not believe that she would do such a thing without being instigated by somebody (he was right here, only the instigator was ayesha not prachi). So this guy is capable of ignoring the facts (as presented to him) and going by what his instincts tell him espcially when it comes to someone he loves.
Now that he has fallen for Prachi irrevocably and has been witness to all her goodness (be it in taking care of his father, supporting his sister, getting him out of his drinking habit, helping him win a contract, seeking him out in the heavy rains even after he had treated her inhumanly, putting up with all his tantrums, near rape, biting sarcastic comments etc, without retaliating) will he still go by evidences? He was witness to her complete breakdown in that famous waterfall scene where she confesses her feelings for him. Could even the best actress put up such as show? Could that all be just a lie?
Is his love for Prachi as strong as that for his sister (though obviously of a different nature) that he is willing to set aside all the evidences and is willing to go by his instincts (which by the way should be screaming that Prachi is innocent) and have faith in her integrity? Because the magnimity of what his disbelief in Prachi implies for their relationship is just too huge. He will have to believe that Prachi is so money minded and devious that all this was an act, an act where a woman will stoop to use her body and emotions to trick her husband to win his money and bring in her lovechild. Living with her and observing her in close quarters can he really believe that?
Ultimately it boils down to whether he reposes as much (if not more) faith in Prachi as he does in Suki. There lies the answer to the future of Michi.
