Ekta Kapoor
Talk about coincidences! Ekta Kapoor could not believe what she had to go through when she left her office to catch the late night show of Loins of Punjab Presents at Fame Adlabs, Andheri on Tuesday night. She was disappointed to find out that the four seats which she had booked that afternoon were already occupied. To top it all, her arch rival Sandiip Sikcand was occupying her seat.

A source present at the cinema hall says, "We saw Ekta entering the hall when the film had just started. Soon after that, she angrily stormed out of the hall when she realised that her seats were given to someone else and that there had been a duplication of tickets. We later saw that the seats that she had booked were occupied by Sandiip Sikcand."

Ekta Kapoor confirms the news. She says, "Yes, it is true and I am very annoyed. We don't go to cinema halls to take a round and come back home! I had booked four tickets from A 01 to A04, for the night show, on Tuesday afternoon. I went there and I saw that two of my seats were occupied by Sandiip and his companion, and the other two by an elderly couple. The manager and the staff had no idea how this had happened. Sandiip was gracious enough to offer me his seat, but it is not fair. I am very angry and I just left the theatre. How can they do this?"

Sandiip Sikcand
Sandiip Sikcand says, "It was dark and I did not even see that the person asking for my seat was Ekta. Finally when I realised what had happened, I got up and spoke to her. She was laughing at the goof up but when it was a good 7-8 minutes and there was no sign of things getting sorted out, she got really angry. I tried looking for her during the interval but she had left by then."

Shunali Shroff, head of corporate communications at Fame Adlabs, says, "There was some miscommunication. We goofed up with Ekta's tickets. But, I am not aware of who was occupying her seats. The manager did try speaking to her but she had angrily stormed out of the theatre by then."

Wah even a common person would be upset with such unprofessional mistake, not to mention someone like Ekta whose time is definitely money. Thank you for the article, Krishi 😊
