Recap: Milind and Neev are friends now, as well as business partners. They must travel to Delhi for an important meeting. Neev's cousin is also getting married in Delhi, so he thinks this trip is a perfect opportunity for him to not only help Milind with business, but also attend the wedding.
Part 31:
Milind and Neev arrived in Delhi at 1am from a direct flight from Mumbai. Milind was surprised to see Neev taking such initiative in hailing a cab, and giving the driver directions to their destination. Milind hated staying in rival hotels, so, for the night, Neev had convinced Milind to stay at his family apartment. The apartment was vacant, but fully furnished, and Neev knew they would have no problems staying there for the next couple of days.

Milind woke up early, barely even getting 4 hours of sleep. Even though he was going to meet with Mr. Sachdev tomorrow, to take care of some technical aspects of the hotel development , Milind had decided to start getting the job done right away. Today he was going to go over to the engineering firm responsible for the hotel blueprints and make sure everything was running smoothly. Even though his company already had a successful hotel in Delhi, Milind's goal was to create another hotel which was even more luxurious than the one they already had. His pre-existing hotel was a five star, but Milind Mishra wanted something more and he wanted something better. This new hotel needed to be one of the finest in all of India, and Milind wanted everything to function perfectly.
Neev heard the noise coming from the other room, and he looked at his clock. "Oh my God!" he moaned, realizing that Milind was already getting ready. Neev quickly got up and walked into the kitchen where Milind was sipping coffee and typing something urgently on his laptop. "Milind! Look at the time!"
Milind looked up at Neev, "Hey," he grunted, obviously immersed in typing something on his laptop, "I am heading off to the firm to make sure the blueprints are perfect."
"No you're not," said Neev,
Milind looked up from his laptop and glared at Neev, "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"It means," Neev said confidently, "that today we are going to my Massi's house. It's my cousin Anamika's wedding in two days, and today is the sangeet. I told her we were coming to Delhi and she made me promise that I would come to the sangeet today and definitely attend the wedding."
"Why are you telling me?" asked Milind, "Go ahead and go. I'm not stopping you."
"Well," started Neev cautiously, "I told them I was in Delhi on business with my friend, and they want you to come along as well."
"Tell them I can't"
"Come on Milind, you barely ever take a minute away from business matters. Just come and enjoy yourself," said Neev.
"Listen Neev, you make have time for this 'faltu' stuff but I really don't. I hate weddings."
Neev knew that Milind was dead-set against going. Neev knew he would have to use plan B. Suddenly, Neev sat down in the chair beside Milind and buried his head in his arms, and let out a huge sigh, and said something to himself under his breath.
Milind noticed Neev's strange antics. "What's wrong, Neev?" he asked, trying to sound as if he wasn't concerned at all.
Neev looked at Milind with his puppy-dog eyes. "Milind, my massi does not have any sons. Anamika is her only child. Her husband is also sick. She does not have many family members helping her with this wedding. I just thought that having two young, handsome, able-bodied men around the house may be of help to her. ButâŚI suppose I will just go alone."
"Shit," snapped Milind, knowing that Neev had used guilt to coerce him, "Fine, let's go. But I don't want to stay during the sangeet. We will help them set up and then I'll leave."
Neev leaped up in excitement and hugged Milind. "Thanks man! Diya Massi will be so happy!"
Milind, uncomfortably wrapped in Neev's arms, responded by patting Neev on the back, and then saying, "Ok Neev, enough with the hugging. There will be no more of that on this trip."

Aryan Malhotra was the owner of a successful and new wedding planning business in Delhi. Not only was he rich and intelligent, but his suave looks also made him the talk-of-the-town. However, currently, Aryan was looking more disastrous than suave. Aryan's head wedding planner, Tanisha, has just called in to tell him that she was down with the chicken-pox, and hence, was unable to manage the Veer Singh-Anamika Gujral wedding. Furthermore, the sangeet party was tonight, and attendance was expected to be high. Aryan could not have his company look bad on a night as important as tonight.
Aryan was sitting frantically in his office, thinking of what to do. All of the sudden, a beautiful woman knocked on his cabin door, "Good morning, Mr. Malhotra, you are here really early this morning," she said in her gentle voice.
All of the sudden, Aryan felt a strange happiness building up inside of him, despite the current situation. He couldn't help it. Seeing her always did this to him. Her presence always seemed to make him feel better. She had only been with the company for less than six months, yet Aryan felt a strange familiarity and bond with her, that he had never felt with anyone before. Looking at her standing at his office door in a cute yellow frock suit only increased his feelings of happiness even more. "Good morning Prachi. How many times have I told you to call my Aryan? Why are you so formal yaar?"
Prachi looked at Aryan and let out her radiating smile. She could see that he seemed a bit stressed out, since he had called her by her real name. She was curious to know what was worrying her boss. "Sorry Aryan. Anyways why are you here so early this morning? It is not even 7:30 am yet!"
"Well Pari, you being early is no surprise, since you are always here early, perfecting everything. But you know when I arrive early, that usually means something is wrong. And today, something is definitely wrong. As a matter of fact, something is extremely disastrous."
Although everyone in the office knew Prachi's first name, they mostly called her Pari, since they all loved her angelic qualities. Prachi, however, did not mind them calling her this, since it helped her disguise her real identity, as Prachi Shah Mishra. To everyone in her office, she was simply Prachi Suri, or Pari as they all liked to call her.
Prachi's concern grew when she heard the stress in Aryan's voice, "Well can 'Pari' do anything to help?" she asked.
"Do you want to help me manage a wedding? It's in two days, and the sangeet party is tonight" he asked.
Prachi did not know what to say. This was the first time she was being offered a wedding to manage. Her work in the company was mostly secretarial. She occasionally organized press conferences, but she has never organized a wedding. She knew this would be a huge responsibility. She also knew that Aryan was in a really bad situation, since all of the company's wedding planners were booked. She knew he wouldn't be asking her unless he really needed the help.
"Aryan," she responded, "I'll definitely help you out, but I think I will need a lot of help from you."
Aryan leaped up from his desk and hugged Prachi. "Thank you Pari! You are amazing! Don't worry, I will definitely help you with everything!" He quickly broke away from the hug, hoping he had not crossed his limits.
He looked at her, but she just smiled back at him as she replied in her sweet and gentle voice, "No problem".

What do you guys think?
Please post your comments.
I am curious to know your thoughts/ideas regarding this FF.
I especially want to know your opinions regarding Prachi's re-entry and pretty-boy Aryan's introduction.
Aryan - Intro was pretty good...so, he has an infatuation on Prachi...or he is it more than that...i guess time would tell..
Prachi's entry - Hmmm! Truthfully hun! I would have liked to see both of them meeting each other at the party and then a flashback as to how prachi came to be there at the wedding....
But, well written as usual....This works too..but i thought you would spring prachi as a suprise at the wedding before milind and then retrace how she came to be there... but a good job none the less... đ đ
