u do kno tht i dont kno this song...hence the first time i saw it...i saw it purely for the feel of the song as well as the visuals...udhar only i was ghayal !! this nickelback is awesome...i love the voice...!!!!

the second time i saw it i kept lyrics side mein and saw....and tht hit me even more....the first line itself...

1. in the opening interlude...when he flings the chair to the ground...u can sense his fury and anger...its as if...this is just the begining of it (now this scene again i hadnt seen so i dont know the context) but im interpreting it as his helplessness when he sees all he holds dear to him move away from him...

2.prison gates wont open up for me...and the car zoooms up in ur face..the intensity in his face and eyes just sizzles through the screen. i would die to be in a car where some one is driving like this

3.im terrified of these four walls...
These iron bars can't hold my soul in

he comes up those stairs and just majestically stands so as to reiterate that these iron bars cant hold my soul....
hes calling out to her..as he clasps the stairs...in despair...looking out to her..to save him from falling...hurry...you can see it in his eyes...i swear this song is just tooooo perfect !

4.teach me wrong from right and i'll show you what i can be...
when he stands at that table...i dont know how you did it...but i can seriously see it in his eyes to prove. he wipes away that one tear...but it seems like hes crying his guts out. the music just wants you to grip the edges of ur seat and shout out to him that no...dont.


5. my personal favorite:
after he wipes the tear and all the while singing is say it for me...say it to me...i'll leave this life behind !!

7. just standing at the window how can someone look so bloody good !!!

say if its worth saving me...!!! the look in his eyes...he just blinks and as if looking away. its almost like a plea...pls say im worth saving.

8. *this part im very sorry i didnt write properly pehle*

but its awesome....
it starts with the guitar playing in the background...and its echoing the turmoil in his heart...his love..(my interpretation). then there is that one tear in his eye...which doesnt fall...and he just slumps his shoulders and falls back on to the bed while running his hand thru his hair...its almost as if hes askin why is this happenin to me...how can i be affected so !!

then the bar scene

the music stops and its as though the song ends on his face which etches in it his sadness....the wind whistles....and he shuts his eyes for barely an instant as if silently calling out to her...pleading with her to come to him. and bang....alll i need is you..

all the while in the bar his eyes are glistening with tears...it tears at ur heart...im seeing it for the 10th time and yet im cryin again.. i love his various postures in the room...(alllll of them showing how sad he is...drinking away his sadness...)
the chair..the floor..leaning against the bar..and there is this piano bit where hes standing and just looks to the side...but at the same time nowhere in particular.


awesome....i kno ive not written enuf...this video has me in awe....serious awe of you. nothin could have fit shabbir or milind better. nothing.... and you know what i loved about the video ?? that even though there isnt a single frame of prachi in it...it seems to be from the first second to the last about prachi...

give me a word for mega brilliant...and that this is...and like sangeetha says....this has risen the bar...possibly to the heavens.

Awww, Anju.... yu are jus too much! By the way for the VMs even I use a diff laptop.. and its dedicated to tolerate me while I put my overflowing , off the line ideas into action ! 😆

Whoa.. Now this is the 2nd fav mix of Shabbo from your collection... for me, I mean.. It was another intense mix dammit! But my favorite moment and scene has to be the last scene in it.. The bar scene where his helplessness and pain is so evident through his whole demeanor. Nickleback's song only brings out the best in him.. His voice suits Shabbo to the T. I told ya that I wanted to make a mix but after watching yours, I almost feel no need to make one as you have successfully covered and shown everything that has transpired b/w M-P thus far.. Gosh, this one.. was tremendously enjoyed by me 👏 👏 👏 ~

The wind whistling bit... was my fav and it jus occured to me, coz I noticed it while syncing another scene and once i noticed, I went mental till I got it the way I wanted it!
To be honest , this was one video mix I made jus to give my imagination a real reel feeling.. to actually see it in front of me... with my fav actor and put my interpretation. It is a bonus that everyone else liked it too! 😊
I liked the fact that you noticed that there is no Prachi in the video , but its all about her... I wanted so truly to capture that essence of a person , who is in our hearts and not necessarily in front of our eyes! I am jus so glad I could do it.. in this mix!
Dont know abt the bar being raised.. but this video mix is my fav until date and nothing can come close to it... this was seriously heartfelt and even deeper... that I connected to!
