Alaap tried to seduce Sukriti. In the beginning, Prachi and Neev were to be engaged at a hotel outside of the city, and Alaap wanted Sukriti to come (so he could seduce her). So he went to Sukriti telling her things like " I love you, and we are going to be married" and then he went to Sukriti's father to talk to him about Sukriti's futher edcation (while Sukriti thouht Alaap was talking about their marriage--she was standing at a distance, you know how indian girls are portrayed as being shy so they don't hear in on their own wedding conversations...) and Alaap managed to get permission to take Sukriti to the hotel outside of the city where Neev and Prachi were to be engaged.
Anyways, long story short, Alaap seduces her and then when they get back, Sukriti finds out that Alaap is engaged to Purvi Neev's sister) and Sukriti understands that Alaap is a scumbag that just wants to seduce as many girls as he possibly can.She tried to cnofront him about it in front of everyone, but was unsuccessful. So now she has a HUGE grudge against him,and she has completely STOPPED trusting men she doesn't know that well.
