Inder-Milind running into each other on the morning walk once again made it ample clear that these two are just about tolerating each other; are barely civil and when alone they have nothing to talk. Milind knows where he stands as far as Inder is concerned so he seems to be keeping his distance. Inder will have to take the initiative to know Milind. But it looks too far to be happening at this stage. You are so right. They just have nothing to say to eachother, no common topics at all. That's so sad. Inder already has a preconceived notion of Miiind. so, there is no chance of him getting to know Milind at all. All we can wish from him is that he thinks before he speaks especially to Milind.
Milind missing Prachi and planning to take her away to spend quality time with her brought forth clearly that the honeymoon is officially over. Prachi has been hurled into too many changes and she will need Milind's support the most so they surely need to spend some quality time together. The farmhouse seems a perfect weekend getaway, what say?😃 Yes, honeymoon is over and reality has seeped in fast. I have other ideas for the getaway. Wanna take a guess?? 😉😉
Inder's worries are understandable but he is certainly going overboard in his protectiveness towards Prachi. Every marriage brings on with it major changes and the girl is always the most affected party. Instead of appreciating Shweta that she is guiding Prachi's in handling the changes, he just sees the negative. Of course there will be changes in Prachi's personality and that is but natural and normal; looks like he hasn't heard that it is the character which counts. He should trust his upbringing and his daughter. Mishra's are no way snooty, snobbish and shallow. So what is he thinking that Prachi will be moulded into? And he just shoots off his big mouth. His comment to Shweta to let Prachi be her own self was way out of line. With Mishra's he just imagines the worst. Shweta kept her cool but what could have best here was if Prachi checked Inder, after all the shoes were her idea. He really needs to stop his unnecessary tirade. He seems to be totally missing the big picture here that all this is ultimately going to affect Prachi and that too in the worst possible way. Isko thodi akal do yaar. Imagine Milind coming to know about Inder speaking to his mom like that, all hell will break lose. Inder ko abhi akal nahi aayega. His concerns are understandable but the way he deals with it are not. Neither he nor Milind will enjoy the rest of his stay in London very much. Lets hope that Milind doesn't lose his cool. Inder will not realise that whatever he is doing will drive a wedge between his daughter and her husband untill it is too late.
With the blonde princess come visiting Prachi's all insecurities were back with a bang. This was but expected. Prachi has been through out having glimpses of Sally's place in Milind's life but the bond she shares with Shweta has completely rocked her. Poor girl, she has no one to share her insecurities with. Exactly, that's what is affecting her the most. Everyone expect Prachi knows that sally has not moved on. And after the party fiasco she cannot even share this with Milind. Poor, poor, poor soul. She is too scared to bring up the subject again with Milind. Milind-Sally-Prachi though in the same situation as Milind-Neev-Prachi has two major differences: Prachi knows that Neev is in love with her but she has conveyed to him that for her it was and always will be Milind and only Milind. Milind here not even knows that Sally still has very strong feelings for him and unlike Milind and Sally, Prachi and Neev have no history. And Prachi knows this and that is what makes her worked up every time she sees Sally. Also, she seems to have realized that Sally Milind's affair was no casual fling. She will have enough proof for that very soon. No wonder seeing Sally at her house with such comfort with her new family shook her up badly. And this is where I come to Milind being a disappointment. Is he the same guy who used to pick up Prachi's moods thousands of miles away in phone calls just by listening to her voice? Than how come he never picked up on Prachi's discomfort, he completely missed upon how disturbed Prachi's was. Milind always understood Prachi or claims to understand her better. He is usually so tuned to her moods and feelings. Then why does he not realise how much Sally is affecting Prachi? One explanation and he is expecting her to understand about him and Sally and forget the past. He doesn't want to talk about it again. Why did he first let Prachi believe that he had a casual relationship with Sally when the truth is entirely different? Is that what he tells himself and grown to believe it too? Inder picked it and as always he went on with his anti-Milind campaign. He now even has PL worried. Right now he only knows that Prachi doesn't like Sally, if he comes to know the reason about this dislike....imagine the drama that will be created!!!! If that happens, he will leave London along with his daughter.
The whole sheera eating moment was very tender😍. A loving look and Prachi was all confident ready to face Sally. That is the only thing Prachi need and she will face all the Sallys of this world. I know you have mentioned earlier also that Milind and Prachi cannot be having the same conversation again and again regarding Sally, but I still feel that Prachi needs someone to share her thoughts about Sally and what all has transpired between them. And it should be Milind. Sally is still pinning for something which can never be hers, and Milind is the only person who can make her realize this truth. She as of now is in complete denial. Milind will come to know about Sally's feelings but not from Prachi. Prachi will share her thoughts about Sally but not to Milind.
This encounter with Sally has completely rocked Prachi to her core. Her craving for Milind seems to have surpassed every other thing. Yes, it was even beyond her understanding. Once again Milind missed on her disappointment and more so even her tears. Milind say yeh umeed nahin thi. Her need for Milind was so strong that she initiated the intimacy. Milind should have at least caught on here. And that is why I am so very disappointed with Milind. Prachi was careful not to meet his eyes and Milind never suspected but that is no excuse. He thought he was doing the right thing, by letting her rest. I didn't cover much of Milind's thoughts in this update. It was getting a bit too long. I will do it in the next one.
I loved the ending. The way you described Prachi's thoughts about the only thing that mattered was Milind and confident and proud in his love she is ready to face all the obstacles was outstanding, superb. Thank you.
