Shabbir's character as Rishi Grewal in Kahin Toh Hoga on STAR Plus was the perfect example of a rich spoilt brat. His character as Rishi was hated by one and all but it was through this show that the audience started recognizing him. He also managed to impress a number of girls with his attitude and character. Also, he looked quite smart and dashing with his longish curly hair and his rough stubble look.
He was next spotted as Milind in Kayamath on STAR Plus, where he played a mawali boy coming from a middle class family. He did really well for himself in this show and proved to be a good actor by playing various roles. If you're one of those who loves to watch Kayamath, you must be aware of his acting skills that kept changing from time to time. He managed to show different shades of his acting as a responsible man, a loving and caring husband and then as a good friend as well. He sported a similar look in this show.
Just in case you didn't know let us tell you that Shabbir is not just a good actor but an equally good host and a dancer. He had hosted the first two seasons of Nach Baliye along with Sangeeta Gosh on STAR Plus and Dancing Queen on Colors, after which he soon became every girl's dream boy. He had also got a chance to prove his dancing skills on Nach Baliye, which was simply rocking.
After acting, dancing and hosting he thought of trying something different. This time he participated in a reality show Fear Factor on Sony. Though this bindaas guy did not win the show, he surely won a long list of fans. We suggest you take up more of these gutsy shows Shabbir. They really suit your personality.
And then he finally entered the silver screen with Shootout At Lokhandwala, in which he played a gangster. Who doesn't remember this film or rather Shabbir in this film? His acting skills were truly appreciated and he soon went on to sign another film Mission Istanbul, which unfortunately didn't do very well.
