you know what is best Shubs, i will love it either way!

Thanks for that faith, Aritha.
im sure you will do a good job with this FF.😊

Hope so.
just realized,
boy the main character in this FF is PRACHI!! oooooo

See, I never really liked the soap Prachi. And my other Prachis in my FFs were more like the serial Prachi though they were more sensible. So, I really wanted to write about a girl here who is not this sacrificing, all good, ideal girl, but a girl interrupted, still loveable!😃

Ms. Ishara? FINE!

You chose the name!😆

thanks Neelab.

I didn't really think prachi's plan would be something like this? but i guess she is right, knowing how much he loves her. i guess milind may stop her?

Let's see if Milind stops her.

so suk is back at home, i think prachi may deal with the matter and make milind understand as her words are having an impact on milind.

Let's hope so.

the con between michi was very touching, just the thought of prachi living must have really hurt milind😭

He is hurt. BUt he is hurt to see Prachi around too. He remembers what he can't have, or his broken dreams whenever he sees her.

i love the way prachi make him understand very calmly, finally the chatterbox prachi is back but she has matured very very much!

She has matured to some extent. But the girl is deeply in pain too.

the lassi part was very cute, both the father in law and daughter in law duo making fun of milind😆

😆
now want to see milind's reaction to suk coming home😃

Next update will be Suk's episode.

plz update soon...

will do.😃

Part 26

"Baaba" Sukruti had said pleadingly. "Sukku, beti" Baaba had choked hugging his daughter whom he was seeing after two years. "Sukruti" Prachi had ran to the door as the height of emotions between the father and daughter hit her too. Emotions had hit Milind with far greater intesnsity, but he had reacted differently by walking inside his room slamming the door.

"Come in, beti. Where were you all these days? This father was worried that he would die without seeing his daughter again" said Baaba leading his daughter inside the home. "Please forgive me, Baaba. I am so sorry" Sukruti had bent down to touch her father's feet but he had hugged her into his chest again. "How are you, my dear?" asked Baaba making her sit on the sofa. Prachi had silently followed them watching the sentimental sight. "I am fine, Baaba. How have you been? How is Bhaiyya? Bhabhi, Prachi Bhabhi?" Sukruti had looked at Prachi who had sat by her and hugged her. "I am so glad to see you Sukruti" said Prachi breaking from the hug.

The father and the daughter had enquired each other's welfare over the last two years. "Where did Bhaiyya go?" Sukruti had looked around. "He is inside his room" said Prachi who had watched Milind go inside his room slamming the door. "Milind" Baaba had called out his son's name but hadn't found an answer. "I will get him out" said Baaba as he went to knock the room door.

With his father's persistent knocking, Milind had opened the door. "Milind, your sister has come. Do you not want to see her?" asked Baaba. "Baaba, please leave me alone. It she was my sister, she woudln't have put her brother and her father in shame and betrayal. The sister I used to adore died two years ago" Milind had said which was heard by Sukruti too. "Milind, why are you talking like this?" Baaba had closed the room door not wanting Sukruti to hear what Milind was saying and continued persuading Milind to talk to his sister.

Sukruti had broken into further tears hearing her brother saying she was dead for him. "Bhabhi, I can never forgive myself" Sukruti had cried hysterically crashing her head into Prachi's lap. Prachi had tried to soothe her with calming words but nothing was working. Prachi had observed that Sukruti's belly was bulged as it would for a pregnant woman. "Sukruti, it looks like you are pregnant. Don't cry like this, it's not good for your baby" said Prachi. Sukruti had cried continuously while Prachi desperately tried to calm her down again and again telling her that she shouldn't be making the baby inside her sad by crying like this. Those words hit Sukruti hard and she had sat up hiccupping, trying to control herself.

"No, nothing will happen to my baby. No, it won't happen again" Sukruti said with her face turning pale.

"Sukruti" Prachi said questioningly not understanding what Sukruti meant.

"Bhabhi, I had decided to leave Aalaap whom I had loved for years, and marry the person my father had chosen for me. The day before my wedding, I found out that I was pregnant. I didn't want to abort my baby or marry another man while I was pregnant for Aalaap's child. When I phoned Aalaap about the matter, he was ready to marry me right then. I couldn't dare to share it with Milind Bhaiyya as Aalaap and him didn't even want to see each other's face at that time. I ended up running away and married Aalaap. But Bhabhi God punished me by taking away my child from me even before it was born. I don't want to lose this baby too, Bhabhi" Sukruti had burst into tears again.

"Oh dear, everything will be alright. Don't pain yourself like this. I assure you that your Bhaiyya loves you as much as you love him. He will come around. It's a matter of time. Don't lose hope. Now come on, wipe your tears" Prachi had placed her hand on Sukruti's cheek and wiped her tears.

By then, with his father repeatedly asking him to talk to Sukruti, Milind had lost control over his anger. He had opened the door and shouted "You better get out of this house before I throw you out" pointing his fingers at Sukruti. "Bhaiyya, please forgive me. Please give me a chance to.." Sukruti had pleaded with joining her palms but Milind had blasted without allowing her to finish her sentence and said "Do you not hear what I say? Just get the hell out of here". Milind had locked the door of his room again, with Baaba still inside.

"Bhabhi, I am going. I will never be forgiven" Sukruti had suddenly got up and quickly moved forward. While doing so, she had tripped on her own dupatta and and fell on the tea table on her stomach that had her cry with pain. She had been having slight contractions from the morning and the fall had triggered it further. Holding her stomach she had crashed into the floor unable to bear the pain. Prachi had panicked to see Sukruti like that and she had shouted "Milind, Baaba, please come out. Sukruti, are you alright?".

Hearing Prachi scream, Baaba had opened the door. Prachi had run towards the room to say, "Baaba, Milind, Sukruti is pregnant. She fell down. She is in pain. We need to take her to the hospital". Baaba had run to see Sukruti while Prachi followed him. Sukruti was not in a position to stand on her feet and Baaba had tried to lift her in his arms. "Leave her Baaba, I will take care" Milind had said, lifting Sukruti in his arms, he further said "Prachi, get me the car keys". Prachi had ran inside the room and got the keys and ran out to open the doors. Milind had put Sukruti in the backseat asking Prachi to sit with her. Baaba had sat front and Milind drove to the nearest hospital as fast as he could.

Sukruti was about 36 weeks into her pregnancy and had gotten slightly premature labour pain. "Bhabhi, call Aalaap" Sukruti had kept on saying while Milind drove to the hospital, while she also winced with great pain that she had never experienced before. "Sukku, nothing will happen to you. We will reach the hospital soon" Milind had said as he turned back several times while driving, to see his sister. By the time they reached the hospital, Sukruti's contractions had heavily increased and the doctor had suspected her to deliver the baby soon.

As the doctor and the nurses worked on Sukruti's delivery, Milind had sat in a corner of the waiting room with his hand against his head. Prachi had sat with Baaba in front of Milind while she had an eye on her husband feeling his anxiety and pain. Remembering how his daughter kept on saying Aalaap's name, Baaba had thought Aalaap should be informed. Prachi had suggested his number would be in Sukruti's mobile which was left at home. Baaba had said he would go and get the mobile from home. Both Milind and Prachi had volunteered to do the job but Baaba had said their presence was required in the hospital and he would get the mobile.

After Baaba left for home, Prachi had sat besides Milind. She had kept her hand on Milind's and their fingures got intertwined with each other automatically. "Don't worry, Milind. Sukku will be alright and the baby too" assured Prachi. "It's because of me, this happened. I shouldn't have been rude to her. If anything happens to her, I won't be able to forgive myself " Milind had blamed himself with his voice giving away that he was in tears. "Milind, don't hurt yourself like this. You didn't even know she was pregnant. And you know what, Sukruti had ran away from her wedding, because she was pregnant at that time, with Aalaap's child. She was in love with him. She didn't want to abort the baby nor she had the guts to reveal the matter to you. She chose to elope and marry him for the same reason. Unfortunately she lost that baby before it was born" Prachi had narrated the matter she had heard from Sukruti a while ago, hoping that it would make him feel better. Milind had only repented for keeping distance from his sister all this long.

Aalaap had tried to contact Sukruti as he was totally unaware of her whereabouts. When Baaba reached home, he had heard Sukruti's mobile ringing. He had received the call and had asked Aalaap to reach the hospital as soon as possible and himself returned back to the hospital too. By the time Aalaap reached the hospital, Sukruti had already delivered a baby boy, slightly weaker due to preterm birth. However, the doctor had assured that the mother and the child were healthy and they will be discharged the next day.

"I am sorr.." Sukruti had wanted to apologize to her brother as he came to see her inside the hospital room. "Shh, it's me who should be sorry. Sukku, my dear sister" Milind had moved the tendrils on Sukruti's face with his hand and kissed her forehead lovingly. Baaba was the happiest man on earth to watch his two children this way and Prachi had tears in her eyes witnessing the scenario.

Aalaap had rushed into the room in which the Mishras had joyously taken a glance at the new born. Milind was the first to notice Aalaap. A tinge of hesitation formed on Aalaap's face to meet Milind. "Here is your son, Aalaap, congratulations" Milind had said pointing to the little baby in his wife's hand. Prachi had placed the baby in Aalaap's hands as he looked at his little new born, lovingly.

"He looks like his Maama. Look, he has already got so much hair, that too curly" commented Baaba. Aalaap had gone to meet his wife then, who had gone through the most rewarding pain of her life. Milind, Baaba and Prachi had watched the new parents with their baby with content. Baaba had hugged Milind while Milind had put his arm around Prachi's shoulder including her in the joyous moment.

Aalaap's parents had arrived by then at the hospital to meet the new born. They also had formally met with the Mishras for the first time. The joy that the new life had brought, had masked the bitter past and new relationships were born that day. 'Ritwick', the baby was named by his grandmother who had finalized a male and female name for the new arrival in the family ever since she had heard her daughter in law was pregnant.

Sukruti was discharged from the hospital the next day and her mother in law had insisted she would take Sukruti with her. Though Milind wanted to bring his sister to his home, knowing that an elderly woman's care would be better for the mother and the child, hadn't disagreed. The next couple days, the Mishras had visited Aalaap's house every day and the families had bonded well.

Shubs you are a born writer - this was superb!!
So many emotions, reunions, new additions, and happiness coursed through this part - fantastic job. Baba's emotions were going haywire - so happy to see his daughter and yet so anxious, worried and hopeful all at the same time to make his son meet his sister - so much tension in this scene Shubs - Milind letting his anger cloud all other thoughts and reasoning, Baba running between his two children and a crying Prachi watching first the beautiful father/daughter emotional reunion, then her husband shutting himself out followed by him shouting at his already extremely distressed sister who had just revealed her whole past to her bhabi, also confirming how at present she is pregnant - phew!!! - really well described - easy to picture the frantic scenes
I felt so bad and scared when Sukruti fell after feeling that this visit was a waste - wow - how Milind took her to the hospital and realized the truth about his sister's past - feeling even more awful that he is to blame. Shubs I think you really symbolised well here for all our benifits as well as for Milind's that nothing can be more precious than the health and happiness of your loved ones - life is far too short to bear endless grudges and bottle up hurts and misgivings of the people you so dearly love - every one makes mistakes - This reminds me of a very fascinating quote that I once read : "You will know that forgiveness has begun when you recall those who hurt you and feel the power to wish them well."
Milind's and Prachi's conversation regarding Sukruti in the hospital was described so beautifully with them holding onto each other and sharing their thoughts so naturally. Then you went on to describe the union of Alaap and Milind - all thoughts and words of forgiveness and of welcoming new relations found their own way to contentment and to an innate joy of families caring and feeling blessed to have each another.
Loved this update to bits Shubs.
