Thanks Niki. you always manage to lift my spirits with your sweet comments when I am down!
What does 'girth' mean Opti - when Rehana spoke of it to her husband. The guy has an expanding waist line.
Ali loves Prachi's cooking, ( I love Gujrati food too but at the resaurant they usually translate the native names of the dish into English, so I don't know if I have actually tried any of these dishes you've mentioned. I must try these bean reciope - it actually looks quite simple, (mind you I can turn the simplest of recipes into disasters - but I will try it) Dont blame me if it does not taste good. I have no idea how it tastes. I am poor at cooking my own native dishes, forget Gujju food!
đShe managed to make Milind cut himself again - I really love her innocent heart! Yes, Prachi ends up doing that too often doesn't she? Now madam's undying love for her husband has made her love him with his beard - good choice Prachi! She loves everything about him.The important point here is Milind is willing to go any lengths to make his wife happy, I loved the way he said that she won't deny him of his kisses later onđ - he even let her mix his tea!! He is much more into her than he realises.
Their conversation was beautiful - straight forward, frank, heartfelt and Milind was able to get a clear insight of what his wife is all about, and probably surprised at how well she knows him too. This makes him admire her even more.Opti this is so true, it's not all easy and it is all about give and take - if one is not willing to adjust then it is unlikely the marriage will ever be a happy one, one's flaws do have to be overlooked otherwise how will you know if there was anything there, however if after putting in all the effort one still is unhappy then that is a different story altogether. Yes, for two individuals who have lived their lives differently all along and who come into the marriage with different expectations will have to give in and adjust. It cannot be one-way. Milind is willing to give in too.
Quite a touching moment when Milind gently kisses her fingers and she gently withdraws - this speaks volumes of how much Prachi understands her husband and will always endeavour to make sure that he is sure too. Yes, in her unobtrusive way she will worm into his affections.
Ramu Kaka went to see Shrabi - I got a bit confused here then I remembered that we're in the flashback and this film was indeed out in the early 1980s. The difficult part of this fic has been for me to try finding things relating to 1984 when I write the past update. In one of the updates I had written that Milind on the cell and then realised mobile phone had not come to the country then. had to hastily correct myself.
Ok Milind in the kitchen - definitely not good - and especially not with his rulerđNot good. so Prachi will keep him out.
Finally Milind can actually guage what an expert his wife is at what she does best. Milind is begining to see the positives of his wife. So far he was only seeing the negatives.
Milind is a wonderful character who deserves the best that life can offer - and thankfully Prachi is there for him!! Yes, he is lucky to have Prachi.
A fabulous write up Opti. Thanks Niki. you made my night.
