Well, you'll come to know Prachi's feelings in the next update.

I'm feeling a little tense writing my comments after reading Munee's, Shubs and your thoughts. I think all of you are right in your own way.
My personal view on this story is that in terms of the Milind's that we're used to, this Milind is very different, and I myself am finding it very difficult to understand why he is so excited, over generous and happily oblivious to her past and her mistake , (which is not a trivial one). I definitely would never want to pass judgements on anyone, because mistakes do happen even by the purest of people and all deserve forgiveness and a chance to be happy, noone has the right to tell anyone if they are wrong or right. However my only qualm is how can a man WITHOUT knowing the truth about a person's past be so forgiving and giving., even to the point that he is willing to lie to his father for the interests of a complete stranger. For this reason I'm not being able to fully appreciate the story and I really want to read much more in order to understand Prachi's and Milind frame of mind better and also her past sitaution - no doubt it's been pretty traumatic for her, but I feel that whatever it was she should have confided in Milind by now - especially when he has done so much for her.

Niki, Milind knows Prachi has gone through something "terrible" which prompted her to try committing suicide. And he also know she was a pregnant helpless girl. When things are quite obvious what else he needs to know?

He has his selfish reasons too to lie to his father. He wanted to remain this eternal celibate right?

You 're right Shubha.
I suppose Shubha for me to get over my hang up, I must consider that MICHI are soulmates and for this reason they were to be united in this unusual sitauation and subconciously and spiritually Milind was drawn to Prachi without registering these feeling himself, so much so that he was able to understand and oversee any flaws in Prachi. Also after staying with Prachi over the months his thoughts and feelings have been further consolidated and attraction has grown stronger.

Yes, both my Milind and Prachi are very differnt from the show as I said they are a radical departure from it. Coming to the points you raised, Milind lied to his father much before he met Prachi and for his own personal reasons. He is only perpetuating that lie after he brought Prachi into Mishra Mansion. It was not a question of forgiveness then because he only thought of the entire deal as something that will solve both their problems. He did not anticipate marriage but realised he was already far into his lie. He was being short sighted thinking that he will be able to get out of the marriage unscathed as both of them would want it that way. He did not anticpate falling in love with the woman then. Now he is still not pressing for her past because he has fallen completely in love with her, her past does not matter any more. And what is the truth? That she has conceived out of wed-lock? that is there for all to see. My point is how should it matter now how she conceived? The only risk is that Prachi could be a gold digger out to dupe him but Milind firmly believes she cannot be. Sometimes one has a gut feeling about a person's character, does one not?
Anyway this is just a fiction and not somebody's personal life. If it is too hard to digest I guess you can give up on it. I will not be offended.

Niki, I have said exactly that in this latest update through the series of questions Milind is posing himself. Right now he is still in a stage where he feels certain things but is unable to figure them out. these feelings will crystallise as the story progresses.

sorry....can't help butting in... i'm sorry, i really don't understand this whole debate on Milind forgiving Prachi! Wht is the need for him to forgive her, and that too for something that she did before he ever entered her life! she didn't even know tht a Milind Mishra even existed in this world tht time! And as far as I understood from the fanfic, it was Milind who had asked her to stay in his house as his fake wife and also him who had asked her to marry him! Prachi never asked for both the things, and when she was offered a safe place for a while, she took it. So to me, neither has Prachi betrayed Milind nor owes an explanation to him (specially when he didn't seem all tht keen in the beginning in knowing her past).
And now Milind falling for Prachi, he knows the truth abt her, so he is not blindly falling into anything, he is aware that she is pregnant and no longer a virgin! And Milind knowing the biological father's identity, what is he going to achieve from knowing it? And I don't want him to accept Prachi only after knowing what she was in life, i rather want him to accept her for what she is now including her pregnancy (which he is accepting)
And I feel Prachi shud tell him abt her past all by herself without him asking her abt it, and that too only ;coz she feels tht she shud tell him everything abt her past and mainly to unburden herself.... from my POV, i feel the issue is not Milind forgiving Prachi, but Prachi forgiving herslef considering the way she tried to kill herself, she needs to forgive herself before she starts a new phase in her life with Milind.
after all tht he did, and he is shown through out the fic, if he insists on accepting her only after knowing abt her past, wud just make me like him a lot less.... i wud rather have a milind who accepts Prachi without any questions.
okie..thts wht i feel😳

Yes Kuku. Milind doesn't need to forgive Prachi. She hasn't done anything wrong to him. If Prachi has to ask forgiveness from anyone- it's from her God- for attempting a suicide and trying to kill her baby too along with her.

Thanks Kuku. So I have one other person who has understood the story! Yes, Prachi needs to forgive herself not Milind for he already knows the deal. And yes, Milind accepts her as she is.
