yeah i agree with you, and i think she already did it by repenting her attempt to kill herself and her baby, on her first day at Mishra Mansion..

Coming to the points you raised, Milind lied to his father much before he met Prachi and for his own personal reasons. He is only perpetuating that lie after he brought Prachi into Mishra Mansion. It was not a question of forgiveness then because he only thought of the entire deal as something that will solve both their problems. He did not anticipate marriage but realised he was already far into his lie. He was being short sighted thinking that he will be able to get out of the marriage unscathed as both of them would want it that way. He did not anticpate falling in love with the woman then. Now he is still not pressing for her past because he has fallen completely in love with her, her past does not matter any more. And what is the truth? That she has conceived out of wed-lock? that is there for all to see. My point is how should it matter now how she conceived? The only risk is that Prachi could be a gold digger out to dupe him but Milind firmly believes she cannot be. Sometimes one has a gut feeling about a person's character, does one not?
Anyway this is just a fiction and not somebody's personal life. If it is too hard to digest I guess you can give up on it. I will not be offended.

Opti you are quite right this is a FF and should be taken as such. You (sorry for presuming) and I have both read countless FFs by now that have beyond 'normal' situations that give the story it's depth and the all important element of entertainment, hence called a fan/fantasy fiction.
I will continue to read this story because it's about MICHI, you've written it (and I hope you know by now how much I love your work), and I desperately want to know what Prachi's story is and how they are finally united as one.

Thanks Kuku. So I have one other person who has understood the story! Yes, Prachi needs to forgive herself not Milind for he already knows the deal. And yes, Milind accepts her as she is.

for me always the issue had been Prachi coming to terms with her past, forgive herself and then start a life with Milind and "their" baby.. and regarding Milind, i just wanted him to accept that the baby's father is now Prachi's past and Milind is her present and future!

Thanks Niki for braving it out and wanting to continue with this fic inspite of your reservations. So I'll have more than two readers (kuku and shubs) for this fic!!!!

That is the theme of this fic although their journey will be a little convoluted.

Niki, I basically think that the problem people have with this fic is that thow can someone as revered asd Milind accept a fallen woman with a love child to boot unquestioningly. They feel he surely deserves better, someone untainted. But then that is the theme of this story. I cant do anything about it.

I think you've hit the nail on the head Opti - I think it's this feeling of a Milind that's not the usual 'possesive' and 'ruthless' character, that's making a few of us close up to any other personal qualities and charateristics that Milind may have - and you're Milind in this repect is one that has to be admired and considered exceptional for saving two human souls, despite the risk of potentially putting his own life and emotions at risk.
However these rtisks are no doubt dispelled since Michi have been together for some time now and a mutual trust is becomming more and more apprent. Indeed Milind love for Prachi is increasing by the day.

Great update Opti...

Milinds feelings came out really good...The clinic scene was really really beautiful

So Prachi did not reveal her past..Poor gal..i dont blame her..it would definitely take her some time to open up to him..

I think Prachi should tell him about her past b'cos she must be bottling up so much of emotions within her that too during her pregnancy..it might affect her health...may be by sharing it with him that might bring her some peace...

From my point of view with regards to Milind..i dont think it really matters to him about Prachi's past...b'coz he already knows she is pregnant ...it did not matter to him when he asked her to marry him and be his fake wife... when he thought he did not have feelings for her...and it shouldnt matter to him even now..when he has started realising that he has started to fall in love with her ...

I want Prachi to reveal her past to Milind for her own peace of mind..b'coz for me i dont think her past has got anything to do with Milinds acceptance of her...Its more like Prachi should be able to get over her past and accept him and get some happiness..for all the suffering she has been thru for trusting a guy...who was not worth her trust...

Everytime i right my comments i try to make it short..but it gets lengthier...

Waiting for your next update...

Well, I never personally liked the extremely possessive and ruthlessly brutal Milind in the show who never gave Prachi a chance to explain herself but always assumed the worst of her. Possessiveness in inevitable and may be even desirable when you love someone intensely but not if one lets that possessiveness harm the very person one loves. In one way my Milind and the show Milind are the same. Both do not think before they act. They are more impulsive. the show Milind married Prachi to make Ayesha jealous. He did not think of the consequences of that marriage on his emotions. Likewise this one did not think what he was getting himself inot when he asked Prachi to marry him partly to escape his father and partly to give her child a name. My guy will have normal feelings of possessiveness and jealousy but the way he would react to those feelings is definitely not the way the old Milind of the show would have reacted.
