Warning To All FF Writers - Page 4

For those who are saying that jyo has posted this warning to antagonioze all the kayamathians, michians and shachians, I would like to point out, I-F has posted a rule on banning adult content from fanfiction a long time ago so if you have a complaint with such a rule, go put it forward to the general moderators... Its not jyo's fault...

You have every right to object you should have pointed it out to the writer you thought crossed limits first before jumping to the mods for complaints.

As for jealous people reporting fanfictions because they hate Michi/Shachi, well, let me again point out that its unfair to generalize people like that, maybe that person was just following the rules... and secondly, even if they are the jealous haters, so what??? If you haven't posted any mature or adult content, why should you care??? The mods will clearly not take any action on you... So the last laugh will be on them...

@jyo - I'm not an avid FF reader, but the few I've read have been pretty PG. Any bold scenes have been written very aesthetically, without being too explicit.

I have a read a few and i did find some vulgarity. Others weren't vulgar but were a bit explicit and when i told the writers they agreed with me. When i went to the mod it wasn't to get any particular FF a warning or a writer to be banned. It was so that all writers would be aware of that what they are writing maybe read by a really young person who may not have had exposure to such stuff before. IF has made rules against it and i only found out recently. I didn't want anyone getting in trouble or any story getting trashed.

Now when a general statement is made that those who complained are Michi haters and are trying do moral police this forum without understanding the difference between vulgarity and romance... how am i to take that. I don't think such sentiment was called for against those who objected. I agree tho that i was upset earlier and might have reacted to quickly.

GD watching the show and whats shown in the show cannot be controlled by IF. IF COC says nothing bordering on P**n and no being sexually explicit in your posts and FFs included. Now i haven't read all the FFs in this forum either. But there are definitely some that i found to be in bad taste. Maybe you didn't read those...or maybe our opinions just differ on what we'd allow our 13 yr old child or sibling to read. I am 24..i watch the show i read the FF its ok...but for a child ...i donno. if i had a 13 yr old in my house watching KYM..maybe i'd forward certain parts...or atleast i'd feel uncomfortable watching it...but i watch it with my mom and don't feel uncomfy and she doesn't feel uncomfy because i am an adult. If i had a younger 13 yr old sibling who was part of this forum and wanted to read certain FFs i'd certainly not allow it.
