Opti, ofcourse am saying this in retrospect.
But even when the PIM track was played out, even then I felt that track was exciting, by exciting I meant that the track was nerve-racking. Nearly after every episode we would be left with a cliff-hanger. there was always that uncertainty looming, ki what will happen next and Anil V Kumar was directing that track, so the emotions from the actors came out better, we got more convincing performances from the actors, we could atleast sympathise with the characters.

I dont think Anil V.Kumar was directing that track. If I remember correctly, he left BT in Oct and this track started only in November. He may have been around when Shabbo was banking his scences before going to Turkey for the MI shoot and maybe for the first few episodes of the track. The rest of the track must have been done in his absence.

Opti...AVK was sacked in Nov around KC time in Kayamath so some imp sequences were banked during his time as director such as the Nov 7th epi, the start of PIM track.

Even I liked PIM atleast they were very much married and aware of their relationship I swear I bit my fingers to bits during that track. It was so damn heart wrenching and exciting specially the court scene I cried watching them both perform so brilliantly.

Now i feel PIM track was better than this weird, bizarre fake husbandwife track..atleast Michi stayed as normal husband wife under one roof!

It is amazing how short people's memories are. If anyone cares to go back and check the posts made during the PIM days, one can see how frustrated people were with the eternal dragging of the track. I remember all our festivals were ruined. Some of the heart breaking episodes were telecast on the day of the festival or on its eve. KC, Diwali, Id, Christmas, New Year, they were all ruined. There were very few supporters for Prachi those days too (ofcourse more than they are now). Although Michi were together, the threat of their permanent separation hung like a democles sword over their heads. Ofcourse now that track looks far better since we are seeing worse track but PIM was no honeymoon.
Personally I thought the PIM track gave more scope to discuss a lot of things than the present track but still it was quite a painful track.
