For the first time I have nothing negative to say to what Prachi said yesterday. She made more sense yesterday than she did in all of the leap so far. She made a huge mistake and is now caught between choosing the duty to her husband and the duty to her children. The focus of her argument were on the kids. So she did not seem as illogical as she did in the past. Yes, it is she who had brought about this position and I am not condoning her behaviour but she is in a bind here. Removing the stability of a family from under the feet of her children is something she fears doing if she now goes with Milind. I understand her argument although I don't agree with her. Coming to Milind, the guy really made me proud of him. Here is a guy who has really come a long way from suspecting his wife if she as much looked at her childhood sweetheart to now firmly believing in her chastity even though she has been faking as another man's wife. The guy forgave her all that she had put him through in the last five years because he knows that whatever she did was because she loved him. He even forgave her for not telling him about his son. All he wants is his family back and I am fully with him on this. He understands how his wife's mind works. He knows that she will put duty before all else. So he is willing to give her a really long rope (hopefully not to hang herself up). He wants her to realise where her duty really lies. Till then he will hang around in her house and be part of the family since his family is now part of that family. He will take her back only as his wife. He could have easily torn her mask in front of that family but then he would have got an unwilling woman, plagued by guilt for having ruined the lives of two children. He wants none of that. He does not want any semblance of Panchi in Prachi. When he takes her back he will take her back as his Prachi, his wife who will willingly come with him because she knows and understands her place is with him. Kudos, Milind for believing in Michi and willing to work to get back your family without losing either your self respect or your love.
