Contrary to the general opinion, I actually found her very good today!

Yeah, there were parts when you wished she screamed out loud more often, but one should realize that there are different stages while expressing grief. You don't always howl immediately, and I can say this from experience. When I broke up with my ex-fiancee, I was initially numb, unable to react, then actually spent some time trying to console myself that everything will become fine, but when reality finally dawned that I had lost him permanently, I rolled over the floor crying, until my mom actually got scared that I would commit suicide or something!

Panchi's anguish was, therefore, completely believable. She was initially shocked, but still clinging onto some hope; then, her tears dropped uncontrollably in front of the ICU, and she finally gives up in the rain.

I almost choked when she cried out "MILIND...hamare bachche ko kuch nahin ho sakta", and later when she cries in front of the ICU! In Tamil, we call that "Vikki Vikki Azhazhadu...." or "Bilak Bilak Kar Rona"....Panchi portrayed that beautifully!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was impressed. *I am not saying this because she is my doll, but because for the first time post-leap, I saw her getting completely into her character!*

So, yeah, keep growing bigger and better, Panchi!!!!!!

Kit I felt with Prachi the creatives were clearly trying to go for almost in tears, extremely worried and anxious for her sons life person .... and given that requirement, I did not feel Panchi conveyed those emotions well becoz I felt unmoved by Prachi's tears, I felt she performed those scenes very half-heartedly...

As I said I liked her best in the Flashback scene and the last scene today...... Then I could feel her pain!!!

I think she was good in parts too. But one thing that i noticed was her voice. I think Panchi caught a cold shooting in Delhi..her throat was scrachy. But that only adds to the scene that Prachi was too over come by emotions and her voice was breaking...you know how it happens when you cry a lot. I really loved her outside the ICU when she kept telling herself that nothing would happen to her child. She was desperately trying to keep in control.

And Sonia i agree. The flashback where she sees Sumonto for the first time was the best scene i've seen since the leap. Panchi was excellent in showing the anitcipation as the nurse walks in ...the way she sat up excited and ready to take her child in her arms...and then the way she took him so gently and held him as the most precious thing she ever saw...she portrayed a new mother's sentiments perfectly... and to add to it ..she looked beautiful without the loud makeup and the sleeping baby was an angel. It moved me. And now i am seriously considering finding the right pic of Milind and fitting it into the scn and making a fantasy pic for "if Milind had been there". Any suggestions by anyone of a scn where Milind might be in the position to fit into the pic with Prachi and baby Michi.

i think any scene where mi & chi were shown with a baby in their arms... they were all cute.. especially the dream scenes.. or the ones with ritwick too maybe?
