BTW, considering the hardcore bengali name the kid has, I guess Proteek or some one else in the clown family named him. I wonder why Prachi didn't name him herself.

I sooo agree Shubhs... all the problem solving skills are restricted to short term decisions as opposed to long term decisions... this i feel is prachi biggest setback

Yasmin, don't even remind me of what Milind lost... I get emotional.

Shubha, I don't think you need reminding..I think when we read the updates and hear of Sumonto's antics...its enough to get us emotional on what Milind has lost out on. But I know Milind will more than make up for it when he comes back.
Btw..I read the 2nd part of your FF..am just too lazy to comment. Very Beautiful. 😊

I find it contradicting that on one hand BT tries to show us holding up traditional Indian family values (showing a sacrificing Patni and a family that believes so much in rituals and traditions, values marriage etc..) but on the other hand most kids grow up with unhappy, fake of problem-ridden homes. One of the importnat aims of a family is to bring up children with healthy minds.
Look at Ayesha, she had a bad childhood without the name of a father and that explained her insecurities and wrong deeds.
And even Prachi, Aalaap, Bobby and Soumya all had to live with the fact that their dad had an illegetimate daughter too.

Even Milsi and Suk didn't have a mother right?

Only Neev had parents.. but then.. did his dad turn out to be a killer (if I am not wrong?).

I can't believe how could Prachi allow Sumonto to address Prateek as Papa.. does she not feel pricked in her heart?
Mallika had only asked Prachi to leave Milind not his kid. She should have left the kid in Mishra/Shah family.
I am sure that would have been a better place for the kid though he would have been without mother.

But then either way chottu would have suffered without the other parent.... and shubs prachi did feel today when chottu said that it is special for daddy... she was reminded of milind... the only way for this mess to be cleared for milind to come back.

MFR even Prachi, Alaap, Bobby and Souwmya had parents... it was only after Inders death did they find out that their dad had an illegetimate daughter... otherwise they were living a quite stable and sheltered life... Both PL and Inder loved them to bits...
Neev had parents but they weren't true parents... His mom Niharika was a selfish greedy woman who cared more about money than her son, and his dad a murderar....Simply put nobody cared a damn about him... Infact this is why Neev hanged out with the Shah family and considered PL to be his true mother so in a way he had security too....
Milinds mom died, I dunno when.... this part was never elaborated on, but I assume its from a young age, and not child birth as Suku was born after Milsi... Milind lived in the chawl and he was pretty poor, and Mishraji while loving had some of his own principles which contradicted with Milinds... though I think both took care of the household... So Milind had a troubled childhood, but his father and sister were affectionate, the problem was when situations arised where they depended on him...
Worst family ofcourse Ayesha's.... no father, she too lived in the chawl and was pretty poor, and infact instead of being taken care off, she had to be the one to take care of her mother from childhood... because of which she had to mature quicker than most children... and was deprived of a normal childhood and parents love....

Honestly, this show has never showed a proper mother and father and son/daughter pure bond... I mean looking @ the list, I would say Prachi/Alaap/Bobby etc had the best parents... but really doesn't that say a lot, when the characters who have the best parents concerns a father who is illegetimate???

Its annoying to see children deprived of their real parents love for some reason or the other!!!

I so much wish he had his parents together...I haven't been watching the episodes at all Bona.. it irks me to see Prateek fake playing Milind in Prachi's life. Now KYM constantly reminds me of Milind and I feel so angry, irritated and sad.

thank you Sonia.. for updating me on pre-Michi history of KYM. I haven't followed it from the beginning.
What do you mean by Neev didn't have true parents.. was he adopted or he didn't like his greedy mother?

May be Milind's mom died after Suk's birth.

It's sad that even Inder and PL's kids who had a good childhood haven't been able to have a wise/responsible or happy life.
