Going by tonight's episode I must say I'm disgusted to the bone the sham of a leap which has failed to impress me and I'm extremely put off by the non creativity of these creatives. The Dasgupta family looks like they all just fled from a circus and ended up in Kolkatta. Though the family is not an issue the people in question ofcourse are the lead roles Mr and Mrs Proteek Dasgupta. It is evident that Prachi and Proteek ended up in a deal with she acting as a replacement to his dead wife the real Panchi Dasgupta. She needed shelter, a refuge to give birth to her son and insure his good bringing thus she agreed. Everything seems fine till the last scene where Proteek has her pinned to the bed going by Prachi's expressions she wasn't liking it very much. Come Monday we'll see her throwing him off her and making him come back to his senses. There are though two aspects which have irritated me to no ends.
1. Prachi had no right to allow Proteek to have such a close and very much physical friendship with her in the first place. True she had to act as his wife but that did not mean prancing and running around with him that has only served in making the guy consider her his private property. I know some people will disagree with me but in my belief a married woman should not forget her limitations which Prachi conveniently has. True she had Neev as a friend but back then she was unmarried and she had known him practically all her life, since when did four years add upto twenty.
2. I don't think I can forgive her for frolicking around with a so called friend cum fake husband while her real husband pines away in much worse conditions. It is insensitive on her part and if the creatives think that shedding tears remembering Milind in the wee hours of the night is justified and accepted as Prachi's undying love for Milind then they are mistaken. Anyone professing to die without their spouse not being able to breathe another minute without him by their side simply cannot turn chirpy and happy in four years. I find it absolutely unacceptable.
For all Chi lovers the girl will remain untainted and true to her love in all aspects shown to have sacrificed everything under the sun for her husband but I don't think the errors committed are redeemable or forgivable in my opinion.
